"My father and I visited the Bamboo Inn because our usual Chinese restaurant was closed for the Christmas - new year period. I found it on Trip Advisor and it had a 4.5 rating. We booked in and duly arrived at 5:30pm. We were quickly seated and the waitress took our drinks order - solo & coke. Shortly after the drinks arrived and the waitress took our food order - prawn toast, Shanghai Beef, Deep Fried chicken in lemon sauce and a small fried rice.I used chopsticks and Dad used a spoon and fork - he's a good, old Aussie.The prawn toast was nice, the beef excellent and the fried rice as you would expect. The chicken sauce was nice but the chicken itself was a bit tough and stringy. I hope this wasn't because we ate during a long weekend. We mentioned the chicken to the cashier who just said "OK"."
