"My first time here today for lunch was pleasantly surprising. I ordered the combo, which come with 2 meat choices. I chose St Louis, dry rub, and Texas brisket with garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The portions were large and delicious. I do like when a restaurant pours your martini at the table and leave the shaker ? There was plenty to bring home to share."

"This establishment was not to my liking. Food was not bad, but essentially mediocre. I ordered miso ramen. Broth was okay. The noodles were nothing special. The pork (not chashu) had a strange texture. We had takoyaki appetizer, and that was okay.Service was relatively slow. It's a small operation, and as near as I could see there are only three staff. I believe that is why things were slow.Perhaps there are so few Japanese restaurants in the immediate vicinity (northern Westchester) that locals like this place. But for my time and money I'd rather spend a teeny bit more for good service and better food.Vegetarian options: Very sparse vegetable matter on the menu."
