"We made a reservation about an hour before our seating time. no mention was made about the air conditioning not working. In Scottsdale it is over 100 degrees at 7 pm so not having working is a big deal. When we arrived the hostess tried to have us sit outside but due to the outside temp we wanted inside. She then fessed up to the fact that the AC was broken. Given a choice between 2 bad choices we picked inside. Everything was very good except the drink delivery which was excessively long and the temperature which was uncomfortable. The fact that they didn't just close speaks volumes about the managements attitude. Their desire to make money trumps the customers comfort. I will think twice before I go back."

"Immediately told us they didn't have any reservation. When I showed them the email, they said they no longer accept open table reservations. They did seat is since they had capacity, however could have been a mess for a table of 8."

"The service is great! Place is spotless. I ordered the Greek Scramble and it was amazing! The food was prepared as I ordered it and came out of the kitchen so quickly. I was waiting for my dog to have surgery about 2 miles away. They allowed me to stay here and wait. I live just over an hour away, so this was very much appreciated. Thank you!"

"Shawn the bartender is awesome, I love his personality. I love the vibe there, has different types of seating indoor and outdoor. I read that works there a very pleasant. I love the fried chicken and salads. A little chicken with pepper?..opps! I do love pepper. I WOULD RECOMMEND."

"Overall, our experience at The House Brasserie was fine. My husband and I have gotten into cocktails lately, so I wanted to take him somewhere for his birthday with a cozy vibe and excellent cocktails. I mentioned in my reservation that this was a very special occasion, a birthday. I didn’t necessarily expect anything outside the norm for mentioning that. But it was clear upon entry that they do not read these messages attached to the reservations, as she wasn’t aware I had requested a patio table. When we saw the patio was empty, we decided inside was better anyway. The hostess then sat us next to the drunkest table of jerks I have ever been sat by, and my husband and I yelled to hear each other for the first minutes before we gave in and couldn’t take it any more, and asked to be moved. They were super accommodating and nice about it. But even so, the evening just didn’t feel special. The service was good but not standout, the food was good but exorbitantly expensive for what it was. The cocktails were excellent though so at least one need fully met! Anyway given the crowd this place draws in, and the cost vs lack of top tier service, I don’t think I’d return soon. Maybe for drinks at the bar before heading somewhere else. We went to Hillstone the next evening to celebrate with my parents and the service there was outstanding and professional, exactly what you’d hope at that price point. Just my two cents"
