"Cracking proper local. One of the last of the breed. Called in on a visit to Shrewsbury on quiz night. Excellent Cuban food. Great beer. Friendly people. Log fire. Dog friendly. Outside deck for a smoke. Brilliant craic. A true find. NOTE they only do food Thursday to Saturday."

"The person I was with can only have gluten free food and drinks so as much as we love the place we ended up with chips.so if you could maybe do a gluten free meal and a gluten free beer or a gluten free wine that would be staying lovely to see all the talbot motorhomes today stopping hopefully enjoying the pub as much as we do."

"We have had a take away from here on a few occasions when visiting family. They serve lightly battered chips which are very nice however I do agree with a previous review that sometimes you do get a greasy taste in your mouth no different...I suppose than eating fish batter. Talking about fish they are very large not cut right down like some fish shops do. They also do all the other normal stuff like pies, sausages batered or not etc however they also serve fried chicken similar to KFC, pizza's, donnar kebabs and shesh kebabs with all the salads and sauces. The takeaway menu is extensive really and there is a small table and chairs inside to eat in or more than likely sit and wait for your order to come. You can order through just eat or they take telephone orders and will deliver just ask for it mins before you want it lol Overall besides the wait they do get very busy at times and that won't put me off using them again. We generally enjoy fish and chips etc from Rumbles just remember communication is everything :"
