"First and foremost the burgers are good. There are plenty of options and having been a couple of times, each one I’ve tried have been tasty. Priced at £12 I think they are also reasonable. However, the price of sides are remarkable. Paid £4 for a small bowl of fries, nothing special just seasoned with salt and rosemary. Could have counted them on both hands. Fries with special toppings £8!! My friends ordered them and they looked very good but again could have counted the amount of fries on both hands. I find it astonishing that a restaurant can charge between £4 £8 for fries salad. Total cost of burger and chips between £16 and £20, add a drink and you’re looking at £25. I try to support local where possible but for a ‘simple’ meal that is essentially ‘fast food’ this establishment has clearly overpriced it’s menu. I would go back again for the quality of the burgers but not at the current prices."

"The staff here are obnoxiously rude, in particular the young Saturday employees. You don 't expect 4 star service from a cafe, particularly youngsters in any service industry. You give them some leeway but customers should at least be served by people with rudimentary manners. A brief example of an exchange here: Yeah, what you want , Pay here , Stand over there . Not a 'please ' or 'thank you ' to be heard. No excuse for attitudes like that towards paying customers, something very wrong with Pinocchios Cafe in the Newton abbot Trago Mills complex. Foodwise, everything fried has an odd aftertaste which is too rich, it makes you feel nauseous afterwards (sampled a fair selection of their menu). One of their burgers sat in my stomach like a stone, had to actually regurgitate the thing when I got home. Truly disgusting and best left. Additionally the menu is very overpriced compared to others serving similar choices on the same premises. The portions are large but this is negligible when they 're serving fast food which tastes like chemical slop. I have genuinely dined in grotty train station greasy spoons before, whose friendlier staff served and prepared better food. I have visited fairgrounds where nomadic ride operators covered in engine grease, have addressed me as a customer with more decorum and dignity than any of the teenagers in this place. No exaggeration, it 's almost like they are competing with one another to be as abhorrent as possible."
