"Well this has to be Forfar well kept secret!! We never knew that it existed until hubby was speaking to two locals! He asked if they could suggest somewhere for a nice lunch and this was the first one they came up with and we were not disappointed! For starters I had crispy deep fried Brie with cranberry sauce! Hubby had ham broth! Then I had steak and onion baguette homemade coleslaw which was delicious and chips hubby had 12oz sirloin had to be seen to be believed! Mushrooms,onions,tomatoes, fried egg and chips and small jug gravy, then strawberry pavlova, Caramel apple crumble ice cream. 2 drinks 1 cup of coffee!! £58 is a bargain! Service was second to none and very well looked after at all times! Nothing was too much trouble! Can't wait for our next visit to the high tea!!!"
