"First time I have been as I stayed close by great authentic place, pub food to a very good standard and just enjoyable. If you are into lighter dark beers, try their own make which I found really nice. Would highly recommend amongst friends...if you are up for a pleasant evening just to chat be aware though, it is quite loud"

"We wanted to try the famous dish of Hamburg called Labskaus, so we decided on a restaurant called Laufauf. Labskaus is a famous Hamburg delicacy consisting of corned beef, herring, beetroot and fried egg. It is served with a side of rollmops (another type of...herring). With some nervousness we both opted for this dish. Thankfully there was nothing to worry about as the Labskaus was beautiful, it tasted similar to corned beef hash. The staff were very friendly and the price good."

"Yes I like this place! It has a great atmosphere and a cosy feeling, and they have some real funny things! For example a link on a post it in the toilet on how to use a paper towel in the right way. Just a funny detail, and I like such things. The coffee is good but a bit expensive. The Chai Latte not sweet enough for my taste. I had a bagel with tomato, avocado and cheese and that was good. The food some other people at my table had also looked really tasty. The staff was very friendly and worked quick. I always love it when a place has a living room feel! It makes you stay very long and you feel at home! We've been sitting there for a few hours waiting for an audition, and for those moments these places are the best!"

"We went on a saturday evening and the place was crowded but not annoying. So I highly recommend to make a reservation for a table. We had to sit on bar but it was still okay. There are two vegetarian burger options, we tried the black bean one and it was very good. Good place, good beers and hamburgers. Nice to sit and chill :)"

"From decor to ambiente and service is one of the best restaurants in Europe. Unfortunately, our eating wasn't entirely on this standard, but I think we were taking off the rule in the night of our visit. we celebrated our jubilee. beginning with kaviar euro) and veuve cliquot champagner euro). the tableside presentation was a show in itself. really amazing, as the taste of our expensive appetizer. we went on to share the lock that comes with four side dishes and also sliced table side euro). it was delicious, but was served warm, almost as if it had served too long before it was served. the sides were equally cool. they also forgot one of our beside dishes (green beans) and they apparently forgot twice. the maitre d’ apologised, but the last page did not finally come out until we finished our meal. the green beans were served at least at the expected temperature. we are guests of the fairmont hotel and will likely try this wonderful restaurant again. Hopefully, eating will correspond to the rest of the ambientes and the service."
