"Again, another good meal. Good, not great, but you get what you pay for. A cod dinner is only $21. It comes with boiled potatoes, vegetables (sadly, frozen carrots, green and yellow beans) ample portion but just meh - it's boiled, frozen veg nothing fancy, boiled potatoes but the fish.... so fresh. We keep returning to Conquistador for the fresh fish - if you're going with a group - try their family style dinner - no reason to cook at home when you can get this meal. We'll be back, again and again."

"Alirang is located on the corner of Main St and Locke St. It’s quite difficult to find parking because they only have a few spots at the back. I suggest parking on Locke St and walking over. I’ve been here a few times because they have good service and food. The decor is dated, homey and pink. It’s like eating at home! Once seated, we were served delicious cups of hot tea, corn tea? Most of the time I order the same things, I really need to try other dishes.<br/ <br/ Side dishes come with every meal if you eat at a Korean restaurant. The most common sides are kimchi, fish cakes, bean sprouts, seaweed, radishes, sweetened potatoes, pickled cucumbers and so on. With our meal, we were served kimchi, spicy bean sprouts, sweetened potatoes and seaweed. All were delicious, you can also refill these sides for free."

"If you are into Portuguese food, this is one of the best place to try. I tend to eat at this restaurant whenever I crave the Portuguese bacalau cosido, boiled cod. The place is divided into a lounge and the restaurant sections. I recommend sitting on the bar/lounge section if you just want to have some appetizers and a few glasses of wine. Over all the food, service and price value can not be beaten. The only dish that I stay away from are the mussels, I love mussels, they are the open frozen type and not fresh. They are good eats but I prefer the fresh whole mussels."

"I walked in to this restaurant and was transported back to 1971, not in a good way though. I ordered the Western omelette and a glass of lemonade. The lemonade was out of a plastic jug - so not good at all. The omelette was more onion than anything else. The onions were undercooked too. I won't be back as there are many other good breakfast places downtown."
