"4.5/5 <br/>Customer service was really good as the waiter was really friendly towards us. The meat to rice ratio was so unusual because there were more meat than rice. The pork was absolutely delicious. For $14.50, it was definitely worth it."

"Brilliant full flavoured coffee made here that is hot popular.<br/ Our lovely daughter recommended the coffee and she has great taste. Just like her parents!!! <br/ Located on a corner street on High St Malvern this place is busy for good reason. The kitchen so so small has one chef or more ... a half chef creating good basic flavour filled food.<br/ The granola was wonderful- try it.<br/ Friendly efficient staff appreciate compliments that are well deserved.<br/ Oh and the coffee is a major draw card here...<br/"

"3.5 stars like the environment and service, the food was between nice and okay. Variety is not great. <br/ <br/ The cheong fun is not as good as tim Ho Wan. The vego version had sweet tofu in it which makes it taste weird.<br/ <br/ The turnip cake (pan fried) use real turnip but some turnip sticks are super hard and chewy. <br/ <br/ The nice list: <br/ the glutinous rice w chicken<br/ XLB<br/ Char Siu bao <br/ xo turnip pudding (not sure why it’s somehow better than the non xo version)<br/ stir fry garlic gai lan"

"Maze is one of Toorak’s newest eateries, situated in the hub of Toorak Village. It has possibly one of my favourite cafe logos ever (must be the Mathematician in me, but I think it’s really cool) and a very sleek looking interior. Maze refers to itself as a restaurant and it very much feels like one too."

"Pembroke has recently started doing brunch and it’s the best! <br/ <br/ I was immediately impressed by the decor and vibes there. The service was great too <br/ <br/ I tried a yummy almond flat white and the SAUTÉED GREENS with added mushrooms and avo! It was such a yummy and filling lunch, and also beautifully presented. <br/ <br/ Would definitely be keen to go back and try their dinner menu!"

"Ada Grace wows with it's gorgeous floral installation that takes up a huge chunk of the ceiling, and also the small touches on each table that follows the floral theme. It's hard not to keep admiring the ceiling the whole time I was there. Even the outdoor seating space is an oasis of calm and greeneries.<br/ <br/ It was no surprise then that even my buttermilk pancakes was graced by colourful petals from edible flowers. If you're not a fan of eating edible flowers, good luck trying not to chomp onto one. The pancakes by itself was quite ordinary and a bit too moist, but when eaten as a whole with the Reese's peanut butter chips, candied walnuts, caramelised bananas and boysenberry ice cream, it was heavenly. The caramelised bananas added a dark toasty touch, which contrasted but complemented the bright tartness of the boysenberry ice cream and the sweet saltiness of the peanut butter chips.<br/ <br/ The Union Burger was a diet killer of a burger. With one beef patty, smoked bacon and a fried egg, it was bursting with juicy meaty goodness. The bun was soft yet held together pretty well. While the tangy tomato relish helped cut through the greasiness, too much of it meant that it became the dominant flavour at the end. Still, a respectable burger, and the accompanying shoestring fries with basil mayo was faultless.<br/ <br/ The standard shots for the coffees here is a double shot, which was perfect for me. Strong, smooth and balanced in flavour.<br/ <br/ All the staffs here were lovely, and interactions between them and regulars goes to show why this cosy neighbourhood gem was bustling even during a weekday."

"New to this area and found a series of Indian restaurants on this street. Walked into this restaurant as there were a number of diners in there at 10.30am in the morning. A positive sign that food must be decent. We got the 2 meat one veg meal as a takeaway for lunch and it was really tasty. The food is authentic, curry was really flavourful and the price was reasonable with big portions. Will come back again next time we come up to this area."
