"Our colleague had been pestering us to try this place for ages, and a few weeks ago we finally made the 2 minute walk to have lunch here.<br/ <br/ I ordered the nasi lemak with beef rendang. Rendang was tasty and tender and came with the usual sides. The sambal was served with some large prawns and the coconut rice was very flavoursome.<br/ <br/ Make sure you get here just before noon to beat the queues.<br/ <br/ Next time, curry laksa beckons."

"Great group dining venue with authentic Thai cuisine. Our entree of mushroom spring rolls was crispy and tasty, our main of yellow curry roasted vegetables with tofu was delicious with a great mix of spices well balanced with the sweet, sour and salty, and our dessert of green tea ice cream with red bean roll was lovely with a warm raspberry sauce. Tucked away in Healeys Lane, definitely worth a return visit and having noticed on their website they do set menus, this is something to try next time. With the ability to order online, very convenient and it's a great user friendly website with all dining options displayed."

"I dropped by here for breakfast one morning. The décor is fairly glitzy, a little urban industrial, with hints of Asian influence. The exposed beams, and exposed brick wall, somehow combines happily with fishy reliefs on the wall, some cane chairs, barrels. minimalist stools, and some plusher seating in booths. Really quite a lot to take in, which makes it interesting. The menu similarly isn’t traditional Thai, but a curious and creative repertoire. Vegetarians and vegans are catered for, which is good to know. It is probably a better venue for lunch or dinner, as the breakfast I had was a little unusual, and perhaps an acquired taste – not quite ready for adventurous dining early in the morning. But it was good quality, and filling. The service is very welcoming – I was ushered in soon after they opened, and attended to with professionalism and enthusiasm."

"I ordered Chicken satay and Char Kway Teow which came within minutes. The food was delicious and the servings generous. With a soft drink, the bill came to which represented great VFM. Would highly recommend."

"Definitely a $18 worthy meal! The size is big enough to make me full and the flavour of both dishes are good. Will be one of my choice for lunch!; <br/"

"We were super excited about Nuri's opening up in Melbourne. We've been to the original in Ubud Bali and we were regulars at the Canggu one when we lived there for two years. We were not disappointed by Nuri's Melbourne, its almost as good as Canggu. Try: The ribs (average person only needs the small size) The Lychee martini Nasi Gorang We've been here 4 times now and its been brilliant every time."

"This place is about a 400 metre walk - easily achievable - from Melbourne's Southern Cross railway station which is the best way to reach it, epitomised by how one of my dining companions could not work out how to get into Docklands even with a navigational aid.The restaurant has al fresco dining in Bourke Street but we trekked up the stairs to the minimalist, 'industrial feel' main dining area that has nice tables for four with comfortable bamboo chairs and in the centre of the large room a few large tables for about 12 with backless pink stools. We chose the former since I want a chair not a backless stool thank you very much. The Thai waitress' English was only passable. She was not effusive and did not smile.Food took a while to arrive: the prawn crackers with peanut sauce were genrous in portion and the mains OK quality; the coconut ice cream was palate cleansing. The waitress brought me a lemon lime and bitters stubbie when I asked for a Thai lemon tea. She was similarly confused when one of our party asked for soda water. As I understand with the National Australia Bank having hundreds of staff opposite, this restaurant is very busy during many weekday lunchtimes, I would hope not to have this slow, slightly surly waitress during such busier periods. There was only one toilet for the premises: insufficient!"
