"Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and was not disappointed. We had the alligator bites, chicken gizzard and corn bread. The service was great and the atmosphere was on par with a Saturday lunch stop. I am jealous I did not have the bottomless mimosas (sat-sun 11a.m.-3p.m. . The gator bites were okay. If the batter had a little more seasoning and there were more consistent sizes I would have gave 5 stars The Gizzards were exactly what I expected, and they will be areason why I return. The Corn Bread!!! It tastes like a fluffy slice of happiness."

"When I went to the place on Friday, they said it's gonna wait 30min. I took the waiting time to see how good the place was. first I thought it was just another place that only black people like to go to. I was wrong, it was black and white at this place. at this point I knew it was a good place to eat. then more people came through the door (10 or more) they were told that there was a 30min waiting, they did not hesitate to say that it was good and continue to order. at this point I knew I was eating at a great place. When I got my food, they said we don't make any refunds. I was confused until I looked at the sign from the soda machine lol. I made my food fresh. the scratched greens filled me with pure joy, it was so good I drank the juice. I had the fried Okra bites it was surprisingly brilliant because of okra slim nature. the mac n-cheese let me marry. that was until I got it, that was the freshest fried food that I had in one, it was like the heaven on earth. I wanted you to make it so good that you know. they will not correct it! the customer service they have was very comfortable, they had this to house bobby environment. they are an example of how they feel. R-E-S-P-E-C-T"

"I had the Southern Fried Chicken and the Wife had the Chicken pot pie. I thought the Fried Chicken was one of the best I have had. It was super juice and was seasoned perfectly. I could have asked for a better lunch. The wife's chicken pot pie was good, but she said it lacked flavor but adding a little more salt and pepper and that seamed to add just enough to make her happy. The wait staff were amazing. Super friendly and very attentive."
