"Great bluegill! Fried to perfection. Yum. We went at about 4pm, we missed the lunch rush and avoided too much dinner crowd as well. Wait staff was courteous enough, everyone else...meh Felt like I came into someone's treehouse without a password, and that also hadn't been swept in a while. Everyone else at my table had soft drinks that were frequently asked if needed refilled, my water apparently was a scarce resource..lol BUT, food was great! Seriously, great! My toddler thoroughly enjoyed her quarter machine winnings, as well. :"

"My wife and I live in Florida with our two daughters. My wife's grandparents live in Marion North Carolina and every time we come to visit we have to stop by Countryside BBQ!!!! we both got the BBQ dinner plate full of pulled pork. I got sides of sweet potato fries, baked beans, collard greens, and fried okra. I loved it all and drank tons of Diet Mt. Dew!! I have always loved the pitchers of your drink that the wait staff brings to your table as I always drink a lot in general so having constant refills of Diet Mt. Dew with my BBQ just makes the meal perfect!!! Great BBQ sauce too!! The service is always awesome and friendly!!"

"Needle in a haystack find! On a road trip with my family and my uncle found this place, we were all so excited to try the food based on the reviews we saw. Definitely worth it!! Did NOT disappoint, so happy I had the opportunity to try the food. : I had the loaded fry's with chicken, so good. great food and great service, considering we got 5 different meals in under 10 minutes of waiting is absolutely crazy. Thank you again for the great food!"

"We decided to stop at Smokey Que's for lunch when we saw a variety of vehicles in the parking lot, including construction vehicles, usually a sign of pretty good food with good size portions. Both were true. Customers ranged from senior citizens to young workers and everything in between. And yes, there were construction workers. We each ordered a pulled pork sandwich and fries. The sandwich came with pickles, slaw and a choice of 4 sauces, all in small containers on the side. The sandwich was full of meat. It did not have a particularly smokey flavor, but was good. The crinkle cut fries were sprinkled with seasoned salt not overly salty. The basket the lunch was served in was full, almost overflowing. The service was friendly and quick. The restaurant was very clean tables, benches, floors, restrooms a 98 rating!"

"We stopped in Marion for an evening and we ate here. I had the Veggie “beyond” Burger and my partner had the 10oz New York strip steak. We shared a Big Ol Pretzel with house made Toonez cheese (my favorite part of my meal). All of our food was delicious and super filling!! The wait time to dine in wasn’t long, just enough time to walk around and enjoy some fresh air before dinner. Our server, Easton, was not only knowledgeable with great recommendations, but also very friendly and made our meal more enjoyable. Next time we stop through Marion we will certainly be back for more!Vegetarian options: absolutely the best beyond burger i’ve ever had!Parking: zero problems with parking, over 50 parking spots in the lot"
