"First time visitor and I can't say enough about how good this place is. There is indoor and outdoor seating but the outdoor area is the place to be! The cheese grits are awesome and the beef shank and egg which is what my wife ordered, is knock it out of the park good! I had an unlisted item, the fried chicken bicuit (made from scratch biscuit) with bacon, and I also added an overmedium egg to it. It was GLORIOUSLY MESSY and I absolutely loved it!!!Our server, Susan M. was an absolute sweetheart!"

"We are chefs always looking for a hometown feel and great homemade food. If you are looking for excellently crafted food, this is your place! The fried chicken is well spiced, breaded perfectly, and juicy! The sides and buffet are top notch. The owners are very open and welcoming, and even though this is our first time here, we felt like we were in our hometown eating with family and friends. Keep up the great work, we will be telling everyone, and will be back again! A five star restaurant in our honest opinion!"

"I brought my mother here for the 60th birthday. Unfortunately, she stumbled on the upper step to go inside because her shoe was free. She had several employees asking if she was fine and she was. We got the loaded gun barrels and they were delicious. Shown is brisket and sausage with Coleslaw and beans. I have the chicken fingers and pommes. The food was great. The waiter was very attentive and made sure that we had handled well. Large small bbq restaurant in downtown. If we live here, we'd be back."

"Highly recommend the pulled pork quesadillas and the KC-Style burnt ends plate. Absolutely marvelous! Choices of three different types of tasty bbq sauces to choose from. Our waitress, Savannah, was also fantastic! Very sweet and took great care of us. When you're in town, be sure to stop by!"
