"Unfortunately the food was not what we expected after reading all the reviews. None of the meals tasted that good in our opinion. However we had great service and the atmosphere was great."

"The sushi here is top notch. The chef takes great care in sourcing and presenting his seafood. Presentation is always spectacular. Come with a group of 6 and let them show you a feast for the senses. It’s a small restaurant so, plan accordingly. Service is nice and unobtrusive. Helpful suggestions, if you know what direction to steer.Vegetarian options: Not many options if you are a strict vegetarian, beyond a few dishes. Ample options for pescatarians.Parking: There’s a large parking lot but a lot of businesses use it and it can be crowded."

"Atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. Our server Andrea rocked it! Appetizers were amazing! The blackeRed Snapper was superb! But the lobster linguine......not so much. Pasta was dry, but overall it was a great evening. We will definitely go back."

"I loved everything about this place. I was in town for work and stopped in on my last night with coworkers. There was a bit of a wait but it didn?t seem too long once we got to the beer garden area out back. The waiting area is a massive and beautiful. There was live music and a chill atmosphere. The staff was super accommodating. Red Snapper was one of their fresh catches andit?s rare to find a snapper fillet. They give you the option of having the fish prepared different ways. I went with blackedwith hollandaise. The hollandaise sauce is killer. If you get it, you?ll probably want an extra side of it. So good! If I?m everback in the area, I?ll make it a point to go back."

"Best crab cakes I have ever had. The chef focuses on a limited menu and makes everything to perfection. Will definitely be back."

"We were headed to Bradenton on an impromptu road trip when hunger struck! Realizing we hadn 't eaten since breakfast, and it was now after 2p we had eyes out for a spot to nosh. The wife yells out thar she blows! and pointed out Captain Brian 's. She 'd been there once before about 2 years ago and said the food was good and prices were reasonable. So we stopped. Entering, we were seated immediately be a friendly server who took our drink orders. The décor is kitschy old man of the sea /fishing village motif. The huge center aquarium is a nice tough although the very large, lone fish doing laps looked SO bored and lonely. When I approached the tank it immediately took notice and reacted to a break in the boredom. Get that fish some buddies!! Food came out super fast. They weren 't busy but weren 't empty either so we were surprised how quickly it came out. I had my traditional fried shrimp fries. Wife had the Bang Bang tacos which looked fantastic. She loved them! Said they have a slow build up of heat. My shrimp were great. Perfectly fried with just the right amount of batter on them. The cocktail sauce tasted home made and was nicely tangy. The fries were HUGE. Like each fry was a quarter of a potato! But they were cooked perfectly and had a good fresh potato-y taste. Over all was a great spot to grab a late lunch at. Will probably revisit at some point in the future. Stop in!"
