"Otoko Ramen knows their chashu! No smell and doesn't feel fatty, just fragrant chashu. Broth and noodles are good too without too much fat or that strong porky smell. Another favourite is their chashu-don with the smoky chashu topping. Delish! Staff are also helpful and friendly. If you're in the area this place is recommended!"

"Sushi is the highlight here and not the cooked food. The sushi omakase is very well prepared with each piece of sushi nicely balanced with different sauces. Cooked food is decent but pales when compared to the sushi. Best to sit at the counter and let the chef serve piece by piece."

"This place is very famous! You must reserve before coming! I was lucky enough to get a seat as I was the first customer for the dinner time. Ordered the pork tonkatsu (less fat) because of calories haha. I thought it might be very dry but it come out to be still juicy and tender. Just nice for me. The batter was not too thick and it was very crispy. After sometime, it was still hot. The cabbage and rice is refillable. I had refilled the cabbage once. It was so crunchy and fresh. It was the tastiest with the sesame sauce. They are perfect match to each other. Base on my observation, not many people eat the cabbage.. what a pity. It is very good, equally as good as the tonkatsu! Please dun miss it! The rice was a bit chewy, moist but not too much. It was good with the seasoning and the pickles. I hop the miso soup can be refilled too. It was also very good, very flavourful. Can taste the fish taste and the ingredients inside was also appropriate and good. Oh ya, forgot to mention they gave watermelon slices after the meal. What a good finish!"

"Got here on a weekday just before lunch crowd started pouring in at noon. Hokkien noodle has decent wok hey and is the 'wet type '. Fried oyster on the other hand is at best 'Average 3/5 Stars ', if only it had the same charcoal treatment as with the Hokkien noodle, would have been so much better!"

"I really like this branch of starbucks because of how spacious the place is. The staff are all really friendly and the drinks are well made. I recommend the chocolate praline cake! My bf says that this is one of the best cakes at sbux. Oatmilk confetti latte is very tasty too."

"A must visit for people who love local hawker food. Bedok 85 needs no introduction for people living in the Eastern part of Singapore as it is easily one of the most visited and crowded hawker. There is a wide variety of food that ranges from souppy goodness to bbq all time favourites. The 2 famed Bedok 85 bar chor mee brand can be found right here in this hawker centre. There are 2 stall (Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian and Seng Hiang Bak Chor Mee) and you can 't missed them as they are just side by side, one with red and one with yellow signboard. It is always filled with endless people queueing up for a bowl of bar chor goodness. To be really honest, my favourite one is still the one in yellow signboard, Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian. One thing to note is that the red sign board, seng hiang has a dried version for people who prefer dried bar chor mee. There is another stall behind these 2 stalls called 'ah poh bar chor mee ' that is worth to try if you have already tried both of these famous one. Other delicacy that is worth mentioning will be chai Chee pork porridge, ah balling tang yuan, satay, chicken rice and bbq seafood. In my opinion and personal preference, for the best bbq seafood experience such as bbq stingray and lala, you might want to try chomp chomp bbq. There are also plenty of shops around this area for your shopping needs. There 's hardware stores, bread bakery, hair saloons and coffeeshop if you wished to try something else."
