"We have been using this Chinese takeaway for a while now and it has gradually got worse. Tonight’s dinner was the worst ever. We ordered pork fried rice, chicken curry and chips. Most of it was inedible. The pork fried rice was cooked till it was dry, the chicken curry was rubbery chicken in the weakest runniest curry sauce with hard peas and almost raw onion. The chips were not nice either, possibly reheated. It is such a shame because when we first went to them everything was perfect and since then each time something is not been quite right but never the whole lot like this. Can anyone suggest a nice Chinese takeaway in Herne Bay, because I can’t now."

"Love this place, we come here every weekend. amazing breakfasts, not cheap, but the money for all high-quality ingredients and the chefs are wonderful- pochierte eier are every time perfect! small menu, but also for vegetarian quite good. very friendly staff, good service, even if they are busy. highly recommended!"

"This place was such an amazing find during our visit to Canterbury. Their vegetarian options are actually all vegan as they use soy sauce instead of oyster sauce. Really fresh vegetables used in all the dishes and such delicious authentic flavours."

"Very nice thai restaurant right outside the city center of canterbury. the Thai food we selected was super, the dessert was a little disappointing. .. it came out directly from the refrigerator....Tiramisu and rocky were totally froozen. as already mentioned in the review, the thai food was great! the staff is very friendly and helpful."

"Regularly here with friends and family. service is excellent and friendly (the team remembers it), eating delicious and comes quickly. their recently introduced lunch box menu is very good value for money. when busy can be very loud, but the good and friendliness makes it."

"Living in Essex all my life, and moving to canterburyC finding this take away was a breath of fresh air. Being served by the one and only GC, it brought me back to my roots. She has great customer service and more front than Blackpool lol, but great staff and food all round. Many thanks"

"Been to Whitstable quite a few times and never managed to get here. I was the only person in the restaurant early but phone buzzing with take away orders. I just had tofu in spicy sauce with egg fried rice- both very good and clean-...no grease- tofu pieces had a lovely crunch to them. Service was very polite and warm from the two ladies- all in all a very good restaurant."

"I felt robbed going here. Although the staff were welcoming, informative and fulfilled their duties tremendously, the quality of food was nowhere near the standard of the service. In almost every way imaginable corners were cut to minimise the costs but the prices were still inflated to fleece the customer charging almost £17 for their abysmal buffet and then additional £5.50 for a pint, the Cobra of which wasn't in stock so I was left to have a Stella. I chose to have an egg curry as the only meat I consume is fish and this was presented to me as one of the very limited options. If you're vegetarian or vegan then don't bother! I could taste the basic watered down seasoning of the off the shelf curry powder with little to no vegetables other than some potatoes. The hard boiled eggs which I doubt were free range were overdone to the point the insides were grey and the white was rubbery and the rest of assortments I could find looked like a cheap party buffet you'd find at kids birthday party. My friend chose to have the Korma to which he had left in its entirety. He managed to eat the beef curry but even this was not particularly pleasant for him. If the staff weren't so friendly I would've refused to pay but with the thought of this being their sole income I chose to keep the business afloat with my custom. My message to the restaurant would be to order better ingredients or charge fairly for the one's you're buying. I would like to see this place improve."
