"I was so excited to see they have soup dumplings. Very few places in this area have them. I ordered for takeout; when I opened the container when I got home I see shriveled up dumplings. There's no broth in these at all. The dumplings themselves had a good flavor but I'm just disappointed it wasn't soup dumplings at all."

"I visited Spice II Thai Restaurant (399 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, NJ recently. I ordered the crispy whole fish with tamarind sauce. When the fish came out, there were scales everywhere that showed me that they were not cleaned or descaled before cooking. I tried to remove the outer coating of the fish to reveal the meat, and I made the terrible mistake of tasting the meat; it tasted terrible and had absolutely no season. My waiter came by and offered to take the fish back and bring me a new one. To make a long story short, I waited for an hour and I never got my fish. After waiting so long, I asked the waiter to take the fish off the bill so I could go. He told me he'd talk to the owner. About 10 minutes later, the owner comes by with the bill in her hand. Instead of apologising for the indecent and disgusting food I was served, she argues with me, accuses me of eating half the fish before they return it (which was NOT true, and told me that she didn't want to take the fish off the bill. In the middle of the argument she also had the nerve to go to the kitchen and the first fish I was served (WHY WASN'T IT THROWN IN THE GARBAGE?!? I didn't want to cause a scene anymore (which I regret and wish I had given her a piece of my mind, so I agreed to pay half the price of the fish so I could just get away from her, even though I didn't eat the fish! The owner of Spice II is unprofessional, argumentative, rude, arrogant and respectful. She knows ABSOLUTELY NOTICE ON COMPANY SERVICE! Spice II is a place where you are served essential and disgusting, and if you ask the nerve as the paying customer to correct this, you will be assessed by the owner and she will refuse to bring you a more acceptable dish of food, and then she will still expect you to pay for food! Stay away from SPICE II! Spice II must be shut down!"

"I love the roast pork lo mein and beef and broccoli. Their food is top notch! I hardly order out, but I decided to try some bubble tea the other day. I assumed that everything in this restaurant was vegan. I drank the tea without thinking twice (big mistake). A while later, my eyes were swollen and itchy and I had no idea what it could be. When I called them, they said they use Coffee Mate creamer in their taro tea!!! I was so shocked. Thankfully my allergic reaction wasn’t that bad, but I thought it would be best if I warned you all. He assured me that every other tea is vegan, but it might still be good to double check. Otherwise, the food is amazing!"
