"My boyfriend and I took a trip to Amelia Island for his birthday. We had heard about Beech Street through the Bed and Breakfast we were staying at. Although, we had read some pretty mixed reviews about Beech Street, we decided to try it anyways. First of all, this is NO fine dining restaurant! They had a piano bar upstairs that was very noisy. This was not soft relaxing music; it was more like comedy hour. With the pianist singing jokes about the SEC and other annoying songs. The food was very pricey, which is perfectly fine for good food, but this was not the case. When our entrees were brought out, mine being the seared scallops, and the parmesan crusted red snapper, they were very disappointing. My dish had a very strong odor and the scallops were full of grit. His dish was tasteless and had a side of what looked like your usual cafeteria type vegetables, carrots, peas, etc... I could go on forever about our experience. Trust me you will be let down, if you like a great dining experience with good food."

"Great local spot. Went to two other places looking for dinner. They had over an hour wait. Walked into Marina and sat right down. Looked like a local spot. Some of the best seafood in a long time. Highly recommend."
