"The food is the same basic fare found at most cabanes à sucre:pea soup, cole slaw, eggs, ham, bacon, boiled and fried potatoes, and of course, les Oreilles de crisse, and it was delicious! Three friends and I booked Sunday supper at 5:30p.m. It was busy but as it was the last seating, not too crowded, so we didn't have to wait long for a table. The service was good and the food came quick and hot. In the past at other establishments, I found les Oreilles de crisse to be overcooked, hard and tough to eat. The ones served here at Au Palais Sucre were light and crispy. There was plenty of food and maple syrup for all of us and I was feeling full when dessert came, but I'm happy to report that dessert was delicious as well! The tire (maple taffy) is served in a separate building. For families, there is a children's playground, a petting zoo and a wagon ride."
