"This is a great little Kölsch pub in a pretty easy location off Rudolfplatz. The staff is friendly and the patrons tend to be locals relaxing. Today a group of older gents sat at the bar speaking Kölsch. Didn't try the food, but the Reissdorf Kölsch was cold and good and the staff attentive. Would like to come back to try the food."

"We passed by this restaurant and it looked cosy and nice. So we decided to give it a try. No reservation and we got a lovely table by the window. Attentive service and we enjoyed our lunch. Price is reasonable. Seem many locals were dining here, I guess this restaurant must be popular in this neighbourhood. Family run business by mother and 2 sons. Recommended!"

"My words cannot describe the deliciousness of today's evening meal at Wippn'bk Südstadt. The restaurant has a pleasant stylish yet comfy vibe, and the service was very good. The presentation of the food was perfect, and every little bit, from the crueltyfreeraised German goose to...the gingerbread stuffing to the winesoaked chestnuts and other sides, tasted perfect. In hindsight, just now, in a nitpicking mindset, I realise that actually the meal was not the temperature that I usually like my food at I eat piping hot and I didn't even consciously notice, even though I'm quite picky about it. The meal was just THAT good. Today's meal was from the special goose menu, so I can't speak for the level of quality of the à la carte food it certainly looked good on the plates of my fellow diners. The starter goose broth and desserts chocolate variations, spekulatius parfait, panna cotta we tried were just that, very good, rather than insanely outstanding. I would highly recommend the goose menu it's expensive, but definitely worth it. Beware that when you get the whole goose, the portion sizes are enormous but they will doggybag without prompt whatever you didn't manage to finish"

"Das BESTE Gyros in Köln. Super lecker. Der Laden sieht von außen nicht so aus. Von innen merkt man, das der Laden Kult ist! Das Gyros ist tatsächlich eins der Besten in ganz Köln. Nette Bedienung und zu den Pommes gibt es eine sehr gutes Majo oder/und Ketchup. Mein Stammladen seid Jahren!!"
