"YUM!! Inside an adorable and historic Anna Maria house, from the service to the food and energy, we LOVED The Porch! Best fries, yummy succotash, great burger, incredible Maple Glazed Salmon, and the Great Blue drink was delicious and beautiful presentation! The pictures of the stone below are outside on the steps, made up of beautiful shells. All of these details really made our experience here! We had such a great time here and will definitely return when we’re back on AMI."

"Worth the wait! We grabbed a drink and hung out on the beach with the kids enjoying the gorgeous sunset view until our table was ready. Once at our table, we had an amazing waitress and the food was delicious. We even picked up some cute Sandbar merch on our way out ? Great location and atmosphere"

"Delicious!!! Located at the end of a pier on Anna Maria Island near Bean Point Beach. Beautiful views of the water. Real small dining room, but the service is wonderful with friendly staff and people. The service was real quick even with our family of 6 and one was a toddler. The meal arrived hot and fresh. My grouper sandwich was yummy. I thought we'd be waiting to be seated when we arrived, but we were seated right away. We arrived around 4:30pm on a Friday. We stayed in a vacation house just a few minutes walk from there. Glad we had a chance to experience this spot!"

"This is our second time here. The food is always awesome, the bar seating area is a really cool setting with lots of Harrys on the walls (you'll see what I mean). I love the fish and chips. The friend pickles are some of the best I've had, it seems like those are hard to make because usually they are hit or miss at other places but at Harry's there are the bomb! Our server was very nice but she was handling too many tables which is not her fault, get her some help. Also try their homemade lemonade!"

"Food is always very good. (And we come here a lot). Service is great. Super dog friendly outside. There is a bad review that sat by a lady who sat next to us and our dog and thought we got preferential service. Personally, I would question the opinion of anyone who also spent the meal that told their big daughter that her daughter was in the law a “money-out-diva” but that’s just me."

"I agree with most reviews. Atmosphere is charming and mostly clean and attractive. As I clean homes for a living I tend to notice some things that others don’t (including owners). Love the duck work exposed however the return vent that (even though normal) shows signs of dust on cover and also around ceiling directly above where we sat (table for two by window on left. Very tasteful old style chandelier also needs a dusting. Attention is obviously spent on decor and newer bathroom but don’t neglect the (not so obvious cleaning) Katie was our server who forgot our soup order and after her embarrassment rushed it out to us with a smoked burnt taste as they obviously toasted the top to melt the cheese. We always order onion soup and this wasn’t even as good as Lone Star. Katie was exceptional otherwise. She even comped our coffee. Owners should note on menu that salads have an up charge as a side.My dinner Shrimp and Scallops had the best seasoning and I was able to switch the set sides even though an up charge was added. My husband who always has a hard time choosing what to eat (he doesn’t eat fish) chose the pork with an apple topping. He enjoyed it."

"I went to General Store today for a sandwich at 2:00. I like to stop here for breakfast when on the north end of the island. Today I felt like the staff was rude and I was bothering them. I walked in and was reading sandwich board and was told to go around the corner to order. I was not in the way of anyone, there was no line, and it being a small establishment, at non peak hours, I was in ear shot of deli section where all three employees were engaged in conversation. Sandwich board is only visible from in front of register and menus are not available at deli section . Walked over to deli section and was greeted with what can I get for you? No hi, how are you? I had Italian. It was good. Wouldn 't say it was worth the $10 when I passed a Publix and could 've online ordered for far less and not had to have had this experience while trying I support a small business. I have been in hospitality for 20 years and definition to me is to treat everyone like they are a guest in your home, and that was not the vibe today at general store, and doesn 't reflect the small town charm our community is based on. I will be back. Hopefully with a better experience to share. And hopefully they can invest in posting more menus."
