"Loin des lieux chics et chocs, on est dans le bar brasserie "des Jules". Une toute petite salle de restaurant au fond, après le bar où s'accoudent les habitués à l'heure du Pernod (c'est-à-dire tout les temps), où le patron nous sert un repas familial sur toile cirée. Excellent pour "casser la croûte" à petit prix (25€ à deux) en sortant du Scriptorial. Et au moins, on existe, contrairement au Littré d'où l'on est parti après 20 min de présence transparente."

"Nous nous sommes fiés aux précédents commentaires et n'avons pas été déçus ! Petit bar-restaurant à la déco contemporaine soignée. Personnel très accueillant et serviable. Plats simples mais de très bonne qualité. Hamburger et frites maison à 10,50€. Plat du jour à 8,50€, c'était un hachis parmentier sur fondue de poireaux...un régal ! Menu enfant traditionnel composé de frites nuggets ou jambon. En dessert, j'ai tenté la salade de fruits maison. Excellente ! Portions très généreuses. Bref une halte sympathique et gourmande. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter !"

"We were in Avranches on a very hot day and stumbled across this restaurant which was close to where we parked. Nice choice of dishes (I had Pork á la Normande - my wife had pizza) and very welcoming hosts. Obviously popular with locals as it was full to capacity and we appeared to be the only tourists there. I would say that you need to be a fairly competent French-speaker to get the best from it as the English spoken by the staff is quite limited."

"The frame is nice, prices are suitable! On the other hand the young man at the service could be a little reactive no cover, no towel a table like we empty with all the dirty plates etc lay next to us and not rid of .. In short super service food to see again!"

"We came here only because all other restaurants are from 14 to 18. Look for another cafe for lunch. I took a salad with fish, but it had a very strange composition. There was everything, even what didn’t go together: rice, pickled cabbage, eggs, salad in sauce, carrots and everything else that was left in the refrigerator. My friend also put potatoes and rice in the same salad with jamon. Well, thank you, they didn’t add a hundred pasta... Food: 3"
