"I can say the drive thru was an experience to go thru .....small little wall speaker kind of felt like we were stuck in the 80's but all good. Ordered and it was easy no repeating ourselves. Got to the window and was greated with...a How are you today ? Which really means the world. Many places you see younger employees on their phones or shooting the breeze talking away ...but not here ..you are their number one priority. I can say well done ...."

"I like A&W restaurants food. I visit different location in Hamilton, Simcoe Caledonia. I stopped at the Caledonia location for breakfast. I ordered The Classic Breakfast eggs over Med. Bacon Coffee and an extra hash brown. The eggs came out scrambled, I told staff and She offered to correct it. Due to time restraints I accepted the eggs. When I got to the table the Bacon was BURNT not edible at all, Coffee 1/2 to 3/4 cup luke warm. The toast was dripping in butter I scraped off a teaspoon of butter and the hash browns were warm at best. I left in disgust. I contacted A&W customer service and lodged a complaint. I received a confirmation of My complaint via e mail. I also receive a phone call from the Owner. We discussed My issues and He informed Me that he has recently taken over this location that was in such bad shape. He offered Me a replacement breakfast and a chance for Him to show how things have changed since under His Direction. I agreed and Then I received a confirmation e mail so He could Mail Me a letter."

"This place is definitely worth trying. There is lots of room for small or large groups and even just the two of you. All of our food came out in sequence of ordering it and just a very small delay from the first person that...ordered to the last. We had people in total. The food was really good and I give this place a thumbs up! Must have; the western omelette, the grilled home fries with onions...delicious Service was great; very friendly staff, quick service. Cleanliness; very clean including the washrroms Parking; lots of parking and easy for motorcycle's....just watch the gravel"

"This restaurant has been in our town for decades, and I've never seen a customer. How is that possible? No one eats there. Why is it still in business?! This vacant Chinese restaurant is nestled alongside the Grand River in charming Caledonia. How bad could...it be? You know what I decided, probably a hidden gem Never mind that for the last decade and a half I've called it the money laundromat. I was ready to try. I defy even the cast of SNL to come up with a more comedic series of hilarious and disgusting overtures intended to drive away customers. From the dirty tables to the glass of chilled cooking wine, this is a restaurant that lowers the bar universally. It is not a restaurant. This is a DARE tavern! This is instead of a slap bet! This place is a drunken bus trip destination! I called this one right- it's hidden gem. You won't find a restaurant THIS bad in Southern Ontario since the Cheapside closed. Is a contrite family member begging for your forgiveness? Put them to the Grand Chow Mein challenge. Your spouse a dog? Send them to the Grand Chow Mein. Life-long friend marrying your ex-wife and asked you to be the Best Man? I have a venue for your Batchelor Party! Everyone needs a dive like this in their pocket. You can't find a place like this on short notice- get this place in your rolodex. We considered the possibility that there could be something other than money laundering going on here... we scoured the menu for which item we could order to be brought in the back to hire a hitman, but we didn't find it. Could be an off-menu item. If you find out what it is, let me know!"

"THEIR BREAKFAST IS TO DIE FOR AND IT IS ALL DAY! Staff is so friendly and helpful and on top of everything. The food is plentiful and delicious. Big mugs of coffee, and the homemade sweets are amazing!!!!"
