"After reading some previous reviews I wasn’t sure the choice of this restaurant to meet friends was a good idea. However upon arrival we were pleased with the setting, an outdoor courtyard with shade and the attentive staff. The menu du jour was which...consisted of gazpacho, salmon lasagne and peaches in wine and ice cream. Wines were reasonably priced although there wasn’t a “house wine” as such. Overall a very pleasant afternoon, good value for money, friendly, helpful staff and easy parking opposite."

"Adresse super sympathique de la place carnot. Du bien mangé et bien servi ! Après une première visite cette été avec repas en terrasse nous avons fait un repas d anniversaire en privé dans la petite salle à l étage. Tout simplement génial , repas avec ambiance musical et Daniela le chef ne laisse rien au hasard. Cuisson des viandes , sauces maison, frites maison et crêpes dessert au top. Service jeune et très efficace. Ilsfont aussi des crêpes salées " typique bretonnes". Allez-y et vous y retournerez..."

"We ate here on our first night in Carcassone after hearing positive reviews about it. The staff were welcoming and friendly, we didn't speak much French and they didn't speak much English but we managed. We had the duck and steak for our main courses, served with green beans and crispy skin on fries. The food was amazing and the portions were generous and we received plenty of complimentary bread. We shared a pudding which was a fabulous chocolate gateau with ice cream and toffee sauce. Great atmosphere, fair price, lovely wine, we wanted to eat here again on the Sun night but unfortunately it was closed."

"We have often sat at this excellent cafe to watch the world go by and have a coffee or (particularly recommended!) a hot chocolate. Their cakes are yummy but even in winter I find it difficult to resist their ice-creams and smoothies. There is a wonderful choice of both. It's the place where the locals go to relax and meet with friends, as well as a great place for tourists to sit and relax. The owners are a delightful family and there is very much a family atmosphere in the cafe."

"We arrived in Carcassonne at dinner time on a Sunday and had not made any reservations. In France this means you have no chance to eat in a good place. So our expectations were not very high when we went to La Cotte de Mailles. It had mostly good reviews on Tripadvisor so we decided to try it, But we were very disappointed with the service and the food. Very primitive touristy eatery, that's what it is"

"Restaurant chic et bien situé dans le centre de la citépetit salle intérieur et petite terrasse (sans vue) mais avec un arbre en plein milieu qui apporte fraicheur et verdurel'accueil est bien, le service impeccable (quoique un peu long, mais cela doit venir des cuisines, car les plats sont frais et fait à la minute)la carte est simple mais avec des plats typiques : cassoulet entre autreil y a des menus également avec un prix très raisonnable, menu végétarien (un peu cher)les plats sont très bons, frais, cuisiner avec gout !penser à réserver, c'est mieux !!une bonne adresse, pas attrape touriste !!"
