"We had Sunday lunch. Amazing value and good, tasty food. I mean this in a good way ... it wasn 't a fancy sunday lunch ... but a good, well cooked, tasty roast. Generous portions and great value! Will definitely return! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5"

"I've been going to the village inn for a few years now, and the atmosphere, staff and management have always been friendly and welcoming. The food has improved a lot in the past year, not saying that it's been poor before, but it's very good now. We have Sunday lunch there and they have a wide selection of meats, and the size is more than enough. The most important thing is that it's cooked hot, and it's very well prepared and very nice! I have even brought friends over to try it out and they agree."

"At least two fully vegan pizzas, with, yes, vegan mozzarella . Gluten free bases also optional on your vegan pizza, how refreshing! Decent size, very tasty. Friendly service. Outdoor seating available. Let down a bit by the standard of cleanliness in the outside area a bit more attention needed to the table tops and condiment trays but plates, cutlery, etc all good. We went at lunchtime but judging by the decor, lights, etc, I imagine the place has a great evening atmosphere. I found the chairs a bit low (even though I 'm 5 '7 tall) but plenty of highchairs for very little people available"
