"We went there for dinner at the occasion of our visit in Comillas and we really enjoyed the place . First of all , the location is good with a comfortabe terrasse . Secondly , the service is good and very friendly and helpful to find a place to park our motorbikes and the food and the wines are good and affordable ."

"I went to comillas for a day trip and did not know much about what restaurant to choose to enjoy a good meal, then I walk around the main piazza and decided to stop at Gravalosa. After reading some of the positives reviews from other costumers I decided to give it a shot and it did not disappointed me. The staff is close and friendly, special thanks to Jesus who was very attentive and a maitre with many years on the field and a smile on his face. He loves what he does and that’s the trick to be good at what you do in the hospitality field. Jorge and Martha were also attending the tables along with Jesus and as attentive as Jesus was. Now to the food. Portions are pretty good size and there’s a great quality-value relationship. I got the menu of the day and choose grilled shrimps as entré and steak as main dish. The steak comes with French fries as side dish, however, I asked Jesus if I could get white rice instead and they did bring it to me. That’s such a nice detail. The meat was reaaaaaally good and with such a great flavor. To put the icing on the top I got as dessert their cheesecake, Is not a New York style cheesecake, but I did not finish it because I was full already but it was yummy. I decided to get a sangria and thought it’ll come with 3 glasses of it like most places I’ve been to and that’s why I don’t gave them the fifth star but it’s ok, the service and food itself made it up for that. I finished with a shot offered by Jesus, I took the “crema the orujo” which is one of the typical after lunch liquors in Cantabria, have the consistency of a Bailey’s one but a bit creamier. I highly recommend to stop at Gravalosa restaurant if you want to enjoy a good meal for a good price and different dishes to choose from plus the staff members are great. I don’t have pics of the grilled shrimps and steak, sorry, I was eager to fill my tummy."

"The place is just as should be, nice food at reasonable price, one of the last one where been a tourist means be in a place where they are not looking to take your money. Perfect for a late lunch after the beach."
