"My partner and I went for their breakfast special. With the $5 gift card from the hotel for declining housekeeping in an evening, got us a $1 meal. The view was nice, it was quite. The food came out right away and the waitress that morning was the absolute best!"

"I always enjoy visiting Spruce Sands, grabbing a bite to eat, and chit-chatting with the Hammonds. The food is pretty standard burger joint fare although there are some exceptions - the chicken cranberry club, creative "perogy fries", and fresh homemade cinnamon buns - Yummy!"

"Great atmosphere and good food. we missed the live entertainment (not sure how often it happens to see someone would have been nice) but it was still a great evening. we had both the fishtacos so we can not say how the rest of the menu. was for the taste, but there were many really appealing decisions. and yes, the tacos were amazing. the prices are reasonable. we'll come back every time we're in gimli."

"The pickerel has so many tiny bones. I counted about 15 in one piece (that I was sharing with my toddler, making it unsafe for her to eat) we reached out to the employee and she responds “the pickerel have bones, it’s whatever we get from the fishermen.. the fish do come from the water” and rolled her eyes and walked away. It was awful customer service. We did not eat our second piece. You pay and leave a tip first and I already gave a generous tip. I wish I hadn’t. We will not be back."

"This little restaurant serves the best pickeral fish and chip dishes with their own tartar sauce recipe! Delicious! They also have amazing milk shakes! They are even available for takeout in the Winter months. So thankful! Kris' Fish and Chips is strategically located right across from the Lakeview Resort. If you haven't stopped in, you should. You will plan your time around their hours next time you pass through. Enjoy!"
