"Enjoyed a nice Sunday evening meal at Alston. restaurant was quite busy and due to the railway arch/cellar build the acoustics tend to make the place quite noisy if full of diners. it was a nice atmosphere though, with some tables with young children and a birthday party. Our only disappointment was that the chicken was sold out on the Sunday Roast Menu. Service was good, mainly by a young lad, very pleasant manner. We have dined hear numerous times and will definitely be back, 22nd in fact. The setting was warm and cosy, with a quick jump on the train home."

She was aware of the surprise and helped us make it go as smoothly as possible. Thank you so much for making this night perfect. The food was outstanding as usual."

"A beautifully renovated place. The quantities of vegan options on the menu for any time of day all sound very delicious. Cauliflower shawarma was tasty (if not a little messy! . Only negative is that the service was quite slow and some of the tables are really close thinking that this is due to recent rebranding, as it is very busy and popular. Must book to guarantee a table!!"
