"I moved to the area at the beginning of the year. The food is great and beer selection is fantastic. I'd give it 5 stars but lately experience here has gone downhill. There's a new server/bartender/manager who has no place working in front of customers. She's thrown off the whole vibe of the staff. Customers can feel the tension when she is working. She's been rude to me and other customers. She talks negatively to/about staff/owners behind the bar in front of customers. Just not a good look. I'll still come here since the food is great and the beer selection is second none in the area. I'll just try and avoid the days this new lady is working."

"So I got up today and it was raining which put a damper in my previous plans. I decided to drive down and get some barbecue it's about an hour and a half from my house. I have eaten there before but it's been several years. The food was pretty decent the ribs fell off the bone as you would expect, the person with me got catfish and enjoyed that as well. The service was kind of mediocre I don't really believe any employee wanted to be there. I would not say they were rude so it was acceptable but you could just tell they didn't want to be there. Thanks to her current economic conditions and this type of food is expensive to buy anywhere so the prices were acceptable. I would recommend trying it if you're in the area."

"We love everything about J2 Steakhouse from the ambiance, food, drinks and service. We started with the shrimp cocktail. They were massive and delicious. For our main entree we split the chicken fried steak. I think it was up there with the best I’ve ever had! Our server Boyd was outstanding as was his assistant and the drink consultant Cody was very personable and knowledgeable. We look forward to our next visit and their upcoming wine tasting."

"Food was not very good at all, taste for the shrimp was too much tomato sauce and peppers. Salad on the plate bland no dressing. The shrimps wrapped in bacon were just as good as the shrimp cocktail. My Michaelada was okay, Selleriestiel was old and like rubber? Taste was like watered tomato juice. The service was just fine, bad to no communication. Yeah, I get it, a Mexican restaurant, but the staff should? can communicate? Customers! That was a disappointment today. We won't return?"

"To the owners, You can not run a chain such as this with 1-2 on staff on a Sunday night. Rosaties makes some good Chicago pizza but this location, this time was not editable. There was only one person working and she was nice and helpful but this pizzais burnt! It was lacking a lot of cheese that they normally use on these Chicago deep dish pizzas."

"Burger, chicken sandwich, loaded pommes are all great. the delicate takaos. not so good, they should be transformed into a wrap sandwich instead of a tacos. chicken pliers in a taco just don't work. the service is ok. they just didn't seem very welcoming, I guess because it was close to the closing time."

"Very authentic home style cooking. Good old fashion mom and pop diner. Service was fantastic. The beef in french dip was of a high quality cut, very tender and tasty. Fries were crispy and not greasy. The breakfast was of equal standards. Definitely a revisit if in the area again."
