"Alas price has gone up and quality has gone way down! This used to be one of my favorite places in Raleigh for a quick lunch. Today I paid just under $18 for a Gyro, fries, and drink; which I can somewhat understand with inflation. However the quality of food was way off!! The steak in my gyro wasn?t broken up at all, just large lumps of chewy meat?it?s steak?em but not broken up it?s awful. The fries weren?t cooked properly, with some burnt but the majority"

"To just call this a Bake Shop is falling short, its a Culinary Creative Hub with many collaborations, spin offs and special events. The Bakery itself is amongst the best in the East Coast and several in Triangle are as well from Boulted Bread to also in Raleigh to Loaf in Durham and Strong Arm out in Oxford. Like our Coffee Shops, this area is certainly blessed with a chunk of the best in the country. Fine Folk is opening soon nearby after having a residency here. Did I mentioned the Croissant Ice Cream Cone? Roasted Peach Soft Serve Candied Pecans on a ?Croissant Cone. Union Special is slaying it."

"More like a 3.5 was a bit disappointed with the food here.. the Mandi rice was under seasoned, the chicken a bit dry...the bread under the tawouk cracked and hard..fries were good, tawouk was good, garlic paste was available but could be better meals come with 2 sides and a soup got lentil soup in my case there's an outdoor area to eat facing the street service was quick and good"

"The sandwiches are huge and full of flavor! The chicken was super crispy and the sauce was sweet. I tried the chicken teriyaki and I highly recommend it. The homemade chips are also nice and crunchy. I'd come back again and again."

"My favorite part of my visit was this restaurant. The best food. The friendliest staff we experienced. The jollof was AMAZING! SO MUCH FOOD FOR THE MONEY. Very family friendly as well. Plenty of dining. Food ready in less than 30 minutes. First time I've experienced that an African restaurant. Menu has a wide variety of west african (Senegalese) and carribbean. You can get basic chicken nugget and fries too. I will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of seating for family"
