"Food was good and large portions. There is currently a 50cent upcharge on any menu item due to price increases, this includes beverages which was a bit surprising. Note make sure your order is written down correctly as any issues with the accuracyof your order is not handled in a professional manner. Workers really should not complain about customers when they are withinearshot. Hopefully this was an isolated incident."

"Since its opening, The Local Goat has been the go-to overnight stop on our I-75 North/South trek. Initially this was because the restaurant was next to our hotel, but now we stop because of the great food. Today, I want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our waitress, Skylar. She reflects good service and compliments the excellent food of The Local Goat experience. Sky engaged in a friendly conversation with a very sweet, personal touch; we will remember to ask for her on our next stop!"

"First time ever going and we did take out. There was both positives and negatives. Positives were the tatchos, fried chicken sandwich, and brussel sprouts were great. Negatives were that I picked the food up but didn't do the order. I got back and wastold I should have been given three drinks. I was not given any drinks but we did in fact pay for them. My burger was orderedwell done but it was still very pink so I didn't eat it. I tried a few bites but ended up just throwing it out. Probably won'treturn since order was messed up even with a 18% tip for take out."

"Heard about this place on Talk Radio 102.3 and I was not disappointed. The food was fresh and plentiful. Hubby got the fried trout and he loved it. I had the regular size burger and took half home it was just too much! Friendly staff. Worth the drive for fresh county food!"
