"This will sound awful but it’s honest. Sunday lunch … food was hot, beef was nice but vegetables were rock hard, cauliflower cheese tasteless Deserts were banoffee pie, shortbread crust was soft stale, fruit pavlova was very tasty but it was just shoved onto the plate Needs more professional staff. It’s gone/going down hill very fast such a shame I said it was honest, it is Please run this potentially superb pub with decent food staff."

"Went here for lunch with my husband and we both had a pork, apple and gravy ciabatta. It was really yummy and came with chips and salad. Couldn't fault the food. The staff were also really friendly and we felt very comfortable there. :"

"What a gem! We’ll definitely be back to visit. Sat out surrounded by beautiful flowers. So peaceful, just the sound of the sheep in the background. 3 of us opted for the ploughman’s sandwich. Really fresh, with a creamy coleslaw and delicious salad on the side. Enjoyed lovely coffees teas with a tasty fruit scone. Great, friendly service. If you haven’t been, try it!"

"Catterick Village Cafe has been open for YEARS and is a very popular cafe. Their menu is affordable and modern, which is great to see. The cafe is on the small side. However, it has a few seats outside. The only downside to the cafe is you can smell the cafe on your clothes for hours after a visit."
