"Really unexpectedly good. We had a full day out at Doubtful sound and returned for a 4 person dinner here. Everybody was stoked with their meals. Including 2 with the mainland venison (entree) and the mussel carbonara. Very happy stomachs all round. The only critique was that I ordered the Venison medallion which was twice the cost of the Mainland venison but was virtually the same meal. Tasted great but in hindsight I could have saved $20 to get the entree."

"Fresh and delicious! We tried the Vietnamese loaded fries at the suggestion of our air bnb host. They were delicious! I had the chicken sushi bowl and my husband had the pork buns. We loved everything! There are a couple of restaurants that serve Asian foods but this is where the locals go and I can see why!"

"Had a quick breakfast here and really enjoyed it. I had the avocado, mushroom and edamame beans on toast, highly recommended. Lots of space and seating and friendly staff. Lucky enough to arrive just before a whole bus load of people arrived!"

"Would not recommend this place. we said it would be 30 minutes until our orders could be taken, ended more than 45 minutes. we ordered two steaks that lasted almost an hour to arrive, and they were quite cold when they came. some other customers who were not satisfied with the service in the evening. we appreciated the manager who discounted the bill 50% when we raised these problems on them."
