"A really lovely friendly pub. Lady behind the bar was wonderful. Didn’t have any alcohol free lager left but took time to search for some. Had a great coffee as a plan b. Didn’t eat but will revisit for food as it looked great."

"I am guilty of believing that for great Lebanese food you have to go to Edgware Road in London. So I didn 't rush to eat at the Lebanese House, until today. The meal was just perfect. We had Kallaj and Spicy Tabouleh for starters, and Daoud Basha (lamb) served with vermicelli rice, and Special Shish Taouk (chicken) for mains. The meat was succulent, tender and cooked to perfection. Portions were just right. It 's in a pleasant 'piazza ' just off the main pedestrianised shopping steet, and you can also eat out. Will definitely be going back."

"I was in the opposite for work and thought for an early dinner at 17:30. the special of the day was deenbrust, with celestial jus, tender stiel broccoli, speck brow and gratincartoffeln. the meal was really beautifully presented. the combinations were great, but everything needed only a little more season (other than 5 stars would have been) the escape was very nicely cooked as anything else was. the experience was great, the service staff was beautiful and attentive. the gastropub is located in such a picturesque area, and the terrace is unbeatable. I wish I had lived more closely when I visited this place! P.S: the interior decoration is worthwhile in itself – classic country pub aesthetics."

"This place is so inconsistent. Today the food was cold and horrible but in other occasions it has been nice. I have never been served by anyone English which proves somewhat challenging when ordering through an intercom system. Food is always slow unfortunately as well. Very hit and miss."

"AVOID at all costs. Front of house staff just stand their giggling and gossiping and not serving customers, not professional at all. Over an hour wait for a couple of pizzas in a near empty pub and staff don 't care and say it 's not their fault . Possibly the worst hospitality I 've ever experienced. Never again."
