"The Elmhurst is clearly designed for those with a taste for quality and attention to detail. The breakfasts were made with great care and service was top notch. I'm a bit younger and really not used to the quality demonstrated by the staff. I think you'd would be a great get away for those looking to relax it have a romantic getaway. Really close to downtown Bar Harbor at only 10 minutes walk maybe and the grocery store. I did enjoy the free fire log thrown in as well"

"Good old fashioned diner! Fantastic portions and decent quality. We had omelette, Reuben, and breakfast combo with blueberry muffins. Omelette was alright with bit more seasoning and cooking needed for the potatoes. Reuben was crunchy, lightly toasted and packed with flavor, a must get! Really enjoyed the blueberry muffin and pancakes as they were fresh and not overly sweet 10/10! Don’t forget to grab yourself a blueberry soda on the way out"

"This place is pretty fucking. If you're vegan, don't go there. their hash-brows aren't even vegan, so I had a sad plate of tofu-kissen and a veggie piece or two with dry toast. plus, 2 cats? they had no cats for years, which is half the reason we left. would not recommend. hot sauce is good."

"We celebrate our marriage and honeymoon, we meet Havana. The service was amazing and personal. Eating so much Maine kitchen, the rotation of Latin in the dishes was extremely welcoming. For beginners we have the scallops that melted in the mouth. My wife got the paella and it was exquisite. It had a ton of seafood and the rice was perfectly cooked. I have the Lobster Moqueca, which was so creamy and the coconut taste went perfectly with the lobster. The cocktail menu was also amazing. For kickers before you get your food you get a small dish on cucumber slices to go the taste buds."

"A MUST stop if you’re vegan and visiting Bar Harbor. They have everything you need to survive a week in lobster land and feel like you’re keeping your nutrition on track. Fresh fruits, grocery items, hiking snack essentials like bars, dried fruits and nuts to prepared sandwiches and ready made meals. A great stop before or after visiting Acadia National Park (a quick 10 minute car drive). We have been to Bar Harbor several times and this place is always at the top of the list to make sure we eat well on our trip. Easy parking right in front of the shop. Bring a reusable bag or carry your items out by hand."
