"Just nipped in for a quick bite to eat, coffee and some cake on Saturday afternoon. Food was great but unfortunately service has let you down. Appreciate staff are busy but I want good vibes and service with a smile. Don’t think this is a...specific person as there were too many of the team not happy maybe a cultural/management issue. "I've been going to this place almost since the opening! It's really nice. They offer loose fruit and vegetables (by the way, every food is organic) and you can on things like pasta, lentils, beans etc. (storage cabinet essential) and even on shampoo and conditioners, both are beliefs in nature, and cleaning products. They sell a lot of sustainable and environmentally friendly equipment, such as reusable sanitary products. The best thing about the place is the bread. They have freshly baked sourdough daily and it is to die. Absolutely beautiful especially with Biscoff!! The staff is always very friendly and helpful."

"Went for lunch with a family member on Tuesday 14th November 2023. Ordered two jacket potatoes with tuna which we got relatively quickly. However we then wanted to order a dessert. Because no one came over to the table to clear our lunch plates or ask if we wanted to order a dessert. I got up and asked a waitress if she could take our order for two desserts. She said she would come over to our table. This did not happen so I got up on another two occasions and again no one came over to take our order. Absolutely terrible service. We will not be going again to this establishment. Far better years ago when it was self service."

"What a lovely place! It oozes kerb side appeal, and has plenty of parking too. The pub itself was really well decorated and had such a friendly atmosphere, and we received a really warm welcome. We stayed in room 4 which was such a lovely room. It was so clean, spacious and well equipped and we just LOVED the bay window so pretty. It was really tastefully decorated and the bed was super comfy too. The food was delicious definitely worth visiting for. The duck spring rolls as a starter were full of meat and the Manchester Tart was just delicious. I'd definitely like to return to sample some of the other dishes available. Breakfast was well cooked and really tasty a really good portion size too. And as for the staff they were all so friendly and welcoming and really added to the character of the place. They definitely made our stay very welcoming. Thank you so much for our stay we've already spread the word and will definitely be revisiting for another stay in the future."

"Decided to eat here on a Friday night and made a last minute booking table for 2 people. We ate in the main restaurant. Arrived early expecting to have a drink in the bar as it seemed busy, but the member of staff made our table ready for us. He was very welcoming and, having never visited before, we were really impressed by the atmosphere and decor. And the size! It's like a Tardis. We had arancini to start amazing. I could have eaten this as a main, too. My husband had a pizza, which he enjoyed very much. I had chicken and potatoes. I'm not a fan of chicken on the bone but this was wonderful. For me, the best part of the meal with the tiramisu for dessert. My husband enjoyed an espresso (he'd nicked on of my arancini so was stuffed). Wonderful food. Staff were incredibly on the ball and drinks were brought out very quickly. Difficult to find the balance between speed and pushiness, the every member of staff who served us managed to do so. The only thing I would say is that I don't appreciate having a service charge added to my bill for two people dining. Whilst I generally do tip, I prefer this to be at my own discretion. On this occasion, the server removed it in advance because she had forgotten to add a side dish to our order. I honestly didn't care as I wouldn't have managed it so we tipped, but that was our choice. Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Can't wait to return."
