"The meal was great for us. The waitress changed the dish because my wife can't eat dairy products. The dessert without cream and milk for it was also delicious. Thank you."

"Very good value for money: delicious oysters, excellent foie gras, perfectly cooked bar. very good and copyy portions. small flat on desserts that, although good, are not up to the rest of the table"

"Others have written about the superb ambience of the Belouga, I shall concentrate on the real issue what we had to eat and the service. This was a big occasion, my wife 's birthday. We enquired beforehand if I could bring my own wines as...I felt, on our last visit, that the choices were either stratospherically priced or simply over priced and mundane. The restaurant has a policy for 'droit de bouchon ' of 20€/bottle. So I dived into our cave and took along some Pouilly Fuissé, a Vosne Romanée and a p.g.c St Emilion (to allow for a wider choice). Certainly not all restaurants have a corkage arrangement, which can vary from 10€ to 20€. This allowed us to have really good wines for a birthday without wincing so much. The carte offered among others a Seasonal Menu at the whim of the chef, entrée main course dessert, for 70€. The chef provides food on a seasonal theme for the first two courses with two or three amuse bouches in between then you choose your dessert from the carte (about 6 delightful, naughty, available). In our case, the theme was lobster and this translated into an entrée of pieces of claw on a bed of firm potato puree and framed in 'bangles ' of crispy potato, ultra thin and crispy, perhaps 20 thin rings a delight for the eye and the crisp rings went very well with the texture and taste of the base. The main course was the body of the lobster about half the body meat still in the tail half of the shell and a red, cheese coated, sauce in the other half. It looked delightful, but one wondered where the rest of the body meat had gone. The sauce was a little on the rich side, but since we were washing down with a 2005 Pouilly Fuissé, we were not complaining! The desserts were superb, but not for anyone trying to hold their weight down. Sugared brulée strawberries, a superb Kouign Amann (Breton speciality raised to Michelin heights)... The service was spot on, we didn 't have to wait much between courses and house made bread rolls and specialty salted butter kept coming. So why am I holding back on the stars? And why my subject heading? Amazingly, and inexplicably, when the main course of 4 servings of lobster arrived, one of them was undressed with no red cheese sauce. It was offered for any one of us to have, whilst the others had the 3 dressed servings. This was unacceptable and I asked for a fourth standard serving. Since the course was served hot, I asked the others to start without me and then sat for some 10 mins waiting for mine. This was stupidly, and unnecessarily, annoying and I was amazed that it could have happened in this way. Further, I felt that the size of the entree and main were rather small the entree made from the claw was just a couple of square inches of claw, so someone else had the rest. And the main course had half the body meat of only half a lobster, so 3/4 of each lobster also went to some other diner 's plate. A thematic meal based on lobster, at these prices, should at least have given half a lobster each, if not perhaps a whole lobster, as would happen at other good Breton restaurants. Hence my degraded ratings. A totally unnecessary stain on their reputation."

"We were in perros guirec and called to la plage for a drink and possibly lunch. we sat on an empty table and waited for it. when we were finally served, we were told that the table was reserved (no sign otherwise. we would not have set there) and that we could not order a drink. the waiter was very rude and abrupt, in contrast to the hospitality we received from the other bars and restaurants. we wanted to book here at our last night, where we wanted a nice, relaxed three-course menu and drinks, but this did not happen by the way we were treated. Too bad about you."
