"I think they renamed to test coffee and rare sound. I should get the probinsyano 2.0 that the barista said like an americano, but with cocos water instead. unfortunately it was not available this day. I chose my usual iced latte with sugar syrup it had fruity notes, similar to that of purple haze of edsa bdg (I forgot to ask the beans), which is refreshing and strong. I recommend only a small amount of syrup to enjoy its fruity notes. but what I love most about this place is that the baristas try to get to know their customers. every interaction is real and personal as they really want to know you. "We dined at Happy Lulu earlier for lunch. It's located at Ubay St, a little farther from 13 Ubay if you're coming from NS Amoranto Avenue. It claims to be a Chinese - Filipino fusion restaurant but it felt more Chinese in my opinion. We arrived at around 11 AM and we were the only customers to be entertained. Happy Lulu seems to be a family owned restaurant since I saw what seemed to be like the father of the family and his daughter to be facilitating the rest of the crew. We ordered the sizzling squid, salt and pepper spareribs, grilled liempo, sweet and sour fish fillet, pancit canton, chopseuy, and their toyo fried chicken. We also ordered fruit shakes and bottomless iced teas to compliment our main dishes. We really enjoyed the food because the they were properly seasoned, they weren't too sweet nor too salty for our liking. We also got their chocnut filled turon for dessert, which everyone really liked! The service was okay, there were a lot of waiters although they could be more attentive. The food was worth their price and we realized we ordered too much and ended up taking out some of the excess --- but it was a surprise that we still ate a lot, given that my grand parents are usually picky with their food and they actually liked the food here at Happy Lulu. It was truly a happy Sunday lunch here at Happy Lulu."
