"We stayed overnight in the King room#1 and had the meals included option. The room was clean and comfortable with good sitting for 2. Arrival was fine except to note that signs are lacking and the gate is easy to miss in the dark. We...had no issue as we were there before. Check-in was easy (pre-booked) and staff were warm and friendly. Room was ready and we settled in. Weather was unpleasant so we didn’t go hiking as planned but sat in room talking and reading. Couple of small items like having to ask for extra coffee and wine glasses cost the 5th star. Supper went very well. My wife has the scallop starter and I had the lobster-shrimp pate. Both were very good. Mains of the salmon dish and the rack of lamb (very generous serving) were also very good. Service and very good and very friendly. Again small comment that the second and younger server had his shirt untucked and a departed couple’s table took a long time to clear. Desert was cheese plate for both of us. Nice selection of cheeses and toast (homemade) and fruit made a very nice end to the meal. Wine list is extensive and a bit on the expensive side but. Some wine is available by the glass the there is an excellent Malbec for $39-very good deal. Breakfast was also very good except to note that the re-constituted grapefruit juice was a bit sweet and better when mixed with my orange juice. We both had the smoked salmon and Inn made bagels with a nice fruit bowl. All in all very good and with a few changes would be 5 star. Well worth the trip to St. Mary’s either on its own or as a base for Stratford plays."

"Great sandwiches made fresh in front of you as you like them and include garnishes, deserts available too. They have frozen entrees to take home for dinner also as well as a large selection of cheeses. They can be very busy right at the lunch...hour so go a little off the peek time and you'll get out faster. Friendly wait staff."

"The family owned cabins at Nokara Farms are the kind of places where you wish you could live – or at least retreat to anytime you want to and the hosts are passionate people who love their land. Lovingly decorated with attractive, comfortable furniture – (including the best bed I have slept in for some time) the cabins are set amongst flowering (well in the Spring anyway) fruit trees and vineyards with uninterrupted views of Lake Ontario from almost every window. We stayed in the Pinot Noir cabin that was stocked with a good assortment of fresh yummy things to eat and drink, all necessary kitchen accoutrements and cozy electric fireplaces in all rooms. All this and you are only 5 or so minutes away from quaint Port Dalhousie and not far from all the other Niagara attractions. I cannot recommend these cabins enough!"

"We decided on a Monday morning breakfast to start the week. We were quickly sat down at a window booth and hot fresh coffee served up. The waitress was attentive and took our order within the expected window. My wife ordered the breakfast special for 8.99 and I went for the eggs benny. Both came out fairly warm with the special hitting the mark perfectly. The eggs benedict were pretty good except that the english muffin had likely been warmed on the grill which left a bit of "flat top oil" taste (bitter). Toasting the English Muffin with a bit a butter would have been much better. All in all a good place to eat for a dependable breakfast in a small town."

"We had the lunch special which was lobster roll with potatoe salad and coleslaw for $14 incl tax. It was delicious and the right size for a light lunch service was fast and friendly. You did need to wear a mask and show ID with...proof of vaccination. They also have all day breakfast and take out made to order homemade subs. We will definitely go again!"

"Heard about this little surprise from friends. Right on the river bank with a awesome view of the Saskatchewan river. It is a winery so don 't be surprised when you discover that to be the focal point. Not a typical winery, but more homegrown fruit ...wines. Like the ones your grandma used to make. In fact, this bistro has just that type of feel. It has a balance of nice refinements and that old flair that comes from an Eastern Europeon recipe book. The hosts were pleasant and friendly. Don 't expect a big menu, and this wouldn 't be condsidered a steak joint. But the food was fun and different. Had a go at the wine tasting selection and that was a pleasant surprise. If you are adventurous and open to new things this is worth the drive. By the way the roads are rough to get there."

"The moment I walked in I was greeted by a nice gentleman, then I sat down and I was in wonderment by the beautiful decorations, tableware (and next I tasted the food!) everything was mostly tasty beautifully put together (the place was clean) the waiter bringing out our food was super friendly! (My only complaint was noise (like other people) if you had other guest who didn't care to be thoughtful you couldn't hear those around you) every single table was reserved! Very busy but otherwise amazing I will be back!!!!"

"We love going to Grazi for brunch after church on Sundays. They have a great eggs benny that is big enough to share ... comes with delicious home fries and fruit. If you go to their other restaurant in a nearby plaza, Big Marcos and keep the receipt, Grazi will give you 10% off. Through the week they have a breakfast special that's very reasonable. You can have breakfast any time until their 3:00 pm closing."
