I was there on Monday November 8, 3020. My friend James, said Phil and Susan make the best food ever. I came from Woodstock. He was right, it was awesome, great flavour and great portions. I will recommend to all my friends Thanks Phil, thanks Susan Ted Grisweld View all feedback.
What Steve Regan doesn't like about Green Garden:
The fryer oil at this restaurant tastes like it hasn't been changed in ages, leaving a burnt and unpleasant flavor in your mouth. The restaurant has a dated atmosphere and the owners seem set in their ways. Not recommended! View all feedback.
Back then (mid 00s,) this place used to have the best fresh fruit bubble tea.
Delicious bubble teas on an especially hot dayI ordered passion fruit, low ice, and jelly.
Located on the corner of Spadina and Dundas you can't miss it! What's the point of coming to Chinatown without having bubble tea?! I'm a taro smoothie
When we moved to Ayr we tried this place and unfortunately have not been back. The food is avaerage at best.
We had dinner here on a quiet Friday night. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. The phone rang a number of times for take out orders. The restaurant is in an old, unattractive wood frame building. I wasn't expecting much from the inside and I wasn't disappointed. It is poorly decorated and messy. And it sure could use a makeover. We ordered Hot and Sour Soup, Shrimp Fried Rice, Moo Koo Guy Pan and General Soo Chicken. The General Soo Chicken was quite good The rice and the Moo Koo Guy Pan were okay. The Hot and Sour Soup was awful. It was way too sweet! It tasted like sweet and sour sauce -- minus the red dye! And it wasn't hot/spicy enough, either. Unfortunately, the sweetness ruined our appetite for the rest of the meal. The only nice thing I can say is that our table was by the window and it gave us a great view of Watson Pond, which was surrounded by shrubs and trees showing off their beautiful, autumn colours. And the Pond was certainly much nicer to look at than anything inside. We likely won't be back.
