"Ma Egerton's on Pudsey street is a brilliant pub that offer an excellent range of drink's and was one of the many pub's me and my twin visited while walking around Liverpool city centre. This is a very historic pub that's been open since 1846 and has many excellent fixtures and features that relate to the theatre and the silver screen and there's many pictures throughout the whole pub's interior of stars from yesteryear. We visited here early in the afternoon on a freezing day and sat in the main bar where we had beers from the Moorhouse brewery which were superb and well priced.This is a brilliant pub thats well worth visiting and so easy to get to from Lime street train station it's only a minute's walk away.(This is my 4th review of Ma Egerton's Pub). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-12.00-23.00. Public Transport. Train Station. Lime Street Train Station."

"Been here a few times now, I think it is one of the best value restaurants in Liverpool. Lovely setting in the outdoor area. We ordered the mixed grill which was superb: lamb chops, souvlaki, chips all excellent, and me and my son were satisfiably stuffed for £30. Service really good and when I wanted to leave a tip, server confirmed that the tips go to them and not into the owners pocket (for me this is really important! Highly recommended."

"Dined using the Groupon deal for 3 courses. We weren't expecting a lot given the price and the fact the restaurant shares its space with a hairdressers but we were wrong. The food was lovely, really authentic and you can see the chef make the food right in front of you. Hearty portion size and great staff. We have recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely be returning!"
