"First it was cold. Every time the door opened it was so cold. We even yelled across the restaurant to close the door. They forgot to put dressing on 3 out of 4 Greek salads. They never even took any money off from our bill with that mistake. Never asked us for tea or coffee, took forever to clear our plates and empty glasses. We brought a cake they never brought us plates, forks or a knife to the table. They forgot about us, we had to go get them , over all our service sucked. And because we had a group of us, they added their tip which they really did not deserve."

"Overall experience was just okay. For the price we paid, I would not go back again? The Keg used to be my favourite restaurant. Not anymore? Our waiter was absolutely amazing but the food was not great at all. I used to love their bread but not anymore. Hard to cut, and tasted nothing special. It used to be so nice and moist. With their special butter, I used to eat too much of it! Sadly, i only had a bite this time. Brie was just okay, nothing fancy, nothing more. It was a mediocre. Green salad was just okay. Too oily. Pepper was cut too big and not much cucumbers and tomatoes. The prime rib itself was delicious but onions and mashed potatoes were just okay? The chicken and ribs were good but chicken was a bit dry? I mean, i was disappointed because it felt like i was eating everyday regular food. Food that i could have cooked at home? paying more than $250 for 4 people dinner and tasting just okay food was disappointing."

"Seriously not recommended. Spaghettini boiled too long and too soft. Rib too dry and salty. Meatballs taste weird. Clam chowder served nearly cold. Servants are passionate but door attendant is barely wake up."

"The Steveston Experience. I had the opportunity to try this place out on a nice warm summer night. It was perfect. Eating fresh dungeness crab with my hands, crunchy fries, and a light breeze. Typical Steveston mellow night out, love it! The place was new and clean, and the crab tanks were very nice as well. Only downside is the price, which I think is a tad bit expensive as our crab was kind of small... Will try again next time and hope for a bigger crab!"

"We were visiting Vancouvet and noticed several of these restaurants throughout the city. Similar to a Perkins or Smitty's from Manitoba. This was easy to locate as it was a mall location. We were greeted and seated quickly. We decided to share a breakfast. Just...shy of $15 for 2 eggs, bacon, smashed potatoes and starch (toast, pancake or 1/2 waffle). The quality of food was good, although the price was quite high. Our server was efficient and friendly. Ensured all was well, but didn't hover over the table. This would probably be a safe place for groups/families or if you wanted a simple, franchise style menu."

"I once took Yanoki for granted, by living so near it and rarely visiting to eat. It wasn't until a new restaurant opened up and I ate at both restaurants until i began eating more often at Yanoki. Simple answer is I enjoyed it more.,...But that doesn't mean Yanoki will always be my choice for a Japanese meal, I haven't tried the other dishes from the other new restaurant across Yanoki. However, if you are near he west and north end of Richmond British Columbia If you're partner or kids decided to rob you of all your cash and you find your self hungry with nothing more than bill, and still would like to be full, the bento is awesome and is guaranteed to be good and filling. However, if you have you're family or love ones with you, and you have the need to make them feel special by ways of a good meal, then I believe that Yanoki is prepared to satisfy your hungry appetite for a delicious Japanese Meal, like sushi, tempura, ramen, and a list of other untasted dishes, Including the ones that has a price of an arm and a leg. It's there f you come at the right season. Yanoki also has drinks, for both the young, and the old, both in Canadian or Japanese flavor. I believe that Yanoki has all he good qualities and flavor of a good Japanese restaurant while focusing on quality. That's why it's located on the west area of Richmond, BC, a place named Terra Nova, an above average neighborhood where houses are expensive and you are also live near the Fraser river.
