"We were here for a family birthday party and overall it was a good experience. Great old school 1950's décor. The calamari appetizers and salmon appetizers were delicious. I was very happy with my in bone prime rib. The service was great. I thought the meals were a bit pricey, but that is the going rate for a fine dining experience."

"This was our first-time here, and we arrived just before the lunch hour.The Place: Located on the main floor of the downtown Hydro building, facing Graham. This open-concept, 60s-styled restaurant, decorated in leather and wood, features a large outdoor patio, and two large rooms.The Food: They have a limited, but varied lunch hour menu, including light lunches. We ordered, 1) Buffalo Chicken Burger, with a side house salad ($15.95) - the burger was very large and hot, but not very flavourful, and the bun started to crumble after a few bits. The salad was also very plain tasting. 2) Fish Tacos, with a side house salad ($14.45) - the tacos were ok, but neither the tacos nor the salad was very flavourful. These were large portioned plates (both pictured), but it was more a matter of quantity over quality. We also ordered two soft drinks. The total lunch hour bill was over $40 - a little pricy for lunch.The Service: Although we avoided the lunch crowd, the service was excellent and very fast. And the staff were extremely friendly, from the host at the front, to our waitress. We were able to get in and out in an hour, and we never felt rushed. The place does fill-up quickly during peak hours, so plan accordingly. Overall: Although the service was excellent, the food was very mediocre and expensive for lunch. What makes this place appealing is its location. We won't be back for the food, but we might return on a hot summer day to enjoy some drinks on the patio facing Graham St and watch the world go by."
