"Have dined in this restaurant for a number of years. The dishes have always been very satisfactory and the menu provides many choices. The staff provide a good service and are always polite and keen to help when choosing a dish. The restaurant offers a good deal on Tuesday, which is well worth keeping in mind"

"We always use Topkapi for our kebab takeaway and we recommend to others, a few weeks ago this place got even better because they started using different chips that were absolutely delicious in fact so nice that we were ordering even more often. However last night got a takeaway and they have gone back to the usual fries that most takeaways use which is a shame! Only writing this hoping they change back! Recommend doner kebab and chicken fillet burger and they always do the meat well done as my husband likes it! Very reliable service not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and some cheaper places locally serve very cheap meat! Wish they did warm home made chilli sauce though that would be perfect!"

"I ate here recently with friends on a Saturday evening. There's a wide range of Indian Bangladeshi dishes on the menu and prices are reasonable. The food is good quality and the staff are friendly but the service was a bit slow almost an hour between starter and main course."

"Visited on a midweek evening. Booked in advance for the buy one get one half price main meal offer. Starters somewhat overpriced (almost £5 for garlic bread! But main meals reasonably priced. Ordered lamb shank which was delicious. Potato and veg selection lovely and was decent portion with extra gravy. Children's meal not so good, french fries and overcooked chicken nuggets! Drinks rather expensive, almost £5 for small glass of red wine. Would go there again but not on a regular basis."

"We had a great lunch at the george yesterday. the food was prepared on a very high standard, fresh and tasty. Although we had to wait too long for all courses, it was good to wait for them. hopefully someone can be used to support the fantastic chef."

"What a treat to find such a gorgeous little gem in the heart of the beautiful Kent countryside. My friend and I were only going to stay for a drink, but the outdoor garden was so beautiful, with its instagram-worthy tree swing and tables set around a pretty lawn, that we spent the whole Saturday evening there. It would make a lovely venue for a wedding reception! The food was lovely. As a veggie it was great to see such a choice of options, with small plates like a beautifully fresh zucchini salad and a classic caprese and my absolute favourite main course aubergine pasta all Norma. It's fantastic to stumble upon a pub like this at the end of a stunning country walk. Can't wait to visit again!"

"Visited here in a group of 16 adults for dinner. I had sought the menu beforehand offering plenty of choice, and notified the restaurant of our choices. The restaurant is attractive being a little olde worlde, and there were fresh flowers on our table. The...two young ladies who served our meal silver service together with the owner, were excellent friendly and efficient. All the meals including the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Altogether a delicious evening meal. If there was a downside it was a slight lack of atmosphere as we were the only customers. Perhaps a little background music would have helped..... However it was a lovely evening and all our french friends were very impressed."

"5 star for what it is! Chinese buffet but with food cooked fresh to order and every single item we picked was high quality, piping hot and delicious! Can order as much as you like and it’s much nicer that they do it in courses rather than usual buffets where you dump it all on one plate."
