"Unfortunately for them I was there to sus out a venue for my bike riding group to visit and have a day out. my meal was well below average small, burnt and vegies seemed microwaved. I don't know how a chicken Parma can appear in front of me within 5 minutes. chips/fries were equivalent of a small fries from Maccas. The chicken was very small with heaps of tomato paste 1 slice of ham and cheese which only covered the middle. I don't know what all the other food tastes like as that was my 1 and only meal I've eaten there. If I was to make a suggestion, I would cut the menu in half, do that properly as opposed to having so much on there, seriously at a guess I reckon a choice of 40 items on the menu plus a specials pamphlet is to much. the specials were barramundi N.T. fish??? do 20 meals right instead of trying to juggle so much. OH! forgot the staff were very friendly and the pub seem like a good old country pub."

"We went for dinner, place is very open with a kind of Industrial decor but too many fake plants.Food was nice but there was confusion over our order. Ordered the Chicken Scallopini on a bed of Mash, my B/f ordered Pork Belly Asian Salad with a side of chips. He was served a Pork Belly Pizza!The waitress tried hard to convince him that was what he ordered! Finally got through to her that was not the order he got his ordered meal 20 mins after my meal had arrived. He enjoyed the salad but it was a small serving. Chips were nothing special, tried to be dressed up fancier with Sea Salt flakes, pretty much what you'd get if ordered from a Cafe to go. Overall was OK experience, but certainly nothing special pricing was a little overpriced for what you get."

"Intimate but not too small dining space inn the centre of town. Just one waitress on duty but she performed magnificently covering the 24 pax having dinner elegantly the Tuesday we were there. On Tuesday - Thursdays they offer Prix Fixe Menu of 2 courses for $45 or 3 for $55 which is remarkable value for the standard of food we enjoyed. selected the charcuterie board starter then two specials off the 'mirror' board plus a side of beans and almonds. The menu is small but concise, the food taste and presentation wonderful and I can tell prepared with passion."

"What a great Hotel, first impressions when you enter this fantastic building is a very underwhelming bar, but don't stop there, venture through the building to the beer garden and surrounding gardens to find secluded picturesque spaces to indulge in some of the finest craft beers on tap. In summer this is definitely the place to go to to listen Blues and hang out with the most hipster of Bendigonians."

"Been to Golden Flavours a few times now. Every time the service has been excellent, the new owner goes above and beyond to insure we are having an enjoyable experience. The food has been brilliant. We tried some of the Indian curries and they are the best we have ever had. Highly recommend. Do you self a favour and give it a try. Definitely will be back again."

"Great central location and friendly staff but the pizza and pasts were below par for a restaurant of this type. Too many dishes are on the menu. They should reduce the choice and lift the quality. A bit disappointing."

"I had been looking forward to trying the Belmont as I'd heard some great things. A group of us made a booking for a Saturday night, which seemed to be a busy night. When we arrived the menu was not yet available, it was still being printed off by the owner. Apparently there is a new menu every day. After receiving the menu, we asked the staff a few questions and they had no idea, the only person who could tell us anything was the owner. One member of our group required a gluten free meal, the owner actually made us feel like this was a real inconvenience. There were limited options for someone unable to eat gluten, in the end she had the pulled pork burger without the bread roll, even then we still weren't convinced it was gluten free. I might also add that the owner emphasised several times that usually they would not make adjustments to a menu item, but on this occasion he would make an exception. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals and the servings were extremely generous. But the fact that they weren't real accommodating of someone who needed a gluten free meal put a dampener on the evening."

"Very very good. Nice building, tasty food and not expensive. Plus they are open on Mondays unlike most other restaurants around the place all closed until Tues or Wednesday. That's no way to run a business. Definitely we will be back."
