What oaklet likes about Axedale Tavern:
returned for lunch and went with friends. Busier than previous which was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. Plenty of places to sit or play pool. Great food selection and cold drinks. Food came out cooked as ordered and delicious. With the having the cafe, coffees are delicious. Highly recommended. Will return. read more.

In pleasant weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area, And into the accessible rooms also come visitors with wheelchairs or physiological limitations.

The veggie burger can be veganised. It was nice and the chips are tasty. Clearly labelled vegan options. Poor food the last 2 times. Cold burger with old chips.
