"I have the most amazing Fish Curry! The flavours weren’t overpowering but perfectly seasoned and the garlic Naan bread was crispy on the edges and soft in the middle, simply delicious!! Sorry my photo has empty plates! Definitely one of the best places in Bristol to have Indian food "

"How the heady have fallen, stars on food hygiene and this is translating back on the food and service. Was a regular patron for them and last few occasions were so poor and felt so aggrieved . Became very unhappy from these visits and...did some reserach on the South Glos website and noticed their food rating was average. which concerned even more.. Curries all seem to taste the same, place has had a long needed makeover but this has taken away the atmosphere. Often busy but usually full of drunks from the local pub and this is what i guess they are more interested in nowadays. Service also below par and food very average to mediocre. Your choice if your prefer going to a star or star? Dont believe go and check the food standard agencies website yourself and enjoy. Sorry for sounding bitter but have given them so many chances to improve but thats it will go down the road."

"I loved the White Horse during my time living in Westbury on Trym for a year in 2020/2021, so much that we were going there almost every week, because of the high quality, delicious food with interesting twists and very professional and nice staff. I was looking forward to visiting again after moving back to Bristol, and could not be more disappointed. The food is now average. The Sunday roast I ordered was generous in portion but only ok in taste. The sweet potato mash was watery, the nut loaf did not taste of nuts, and the roasted potatoes were very hard. The staff is nice, but definitely not trained to the level of the team under previous ownership. We booked a table for 2pm, but our reservation was written down as 1pm, and we ended up in a dark room at the back with no windows. I saw the person on the bar picking up ice cubes with their hand and putting it in a glass and then proceeding to pour customers' drinks. It was not terrible, but I won't come back."

"Had a jacket with plenty if filling, but the skin was so hard we couldn't cut it so only ate the potato and filling. ample amount of food but couldn't eat the whole thing."

"We had dinner here because it was one of the few places open. It was the best Chinese I’ve had in a while. Just incredible. The portions are huge and the flavours are wonderful. The place was full and the attention was good."

"Friendly, family run fast food shop. Not just wide range of pizza but also sorts of different kebab varieties. Very good quality and value, and even deals available. They seem to get loads of internet orders as well. Recommended."

"The menu looked fantastic and the app worked incredibly well. Ordered a meal for just before on a Friday night for delivery. A busy time and app advised would be an hour wait. and no sign. Called them and a rude female...answered with very busy. Just minutes. We are very busy minutes I explained that it was ordered over an hour ago but the call was disconnected. and still no sign. Called a second time only to be told in an angry voice still very busy' no apology or any form of customer service. Order finally arrived at It was cold. The king prawn danzak had small PIECES of broken up prawn, overly spicy heat and no flavor. portion of pilau rice missing. Raita looked like cheap natural yoghurt that had started to split. The chicken saag was relatively tasty but again very little meat. Onion bhaji cost for golf ball sized soggy things. Naan breads were over cooked. Whatever you do DO NOT order anything from here. Waste of"

"Beautiful cozy pub that also makes an extraordinary Sunday dinner! our party included ages from 30 to 96 years and regarding food, a celiac and a vegan. all were well maintained in terms of choice and the portion and food quality were excellent. special mention of the staff, which was excellent in terms of ease and helpfulness. this is a good option if they are in bristol and the environment is beautiful, also wandering."
