Ownership has changed and so has the ambiance and most importantly the menu. The menu felt like going back 50 years. It’s early days for the new owners and I hope that the menu will improve. I think to charge £14 for macaroni cheese is too much. The menu is limited and not very interesting. I recently dined at the White Horse for the first time and had an excellent experience. The Sunday roast I ordered was incredible - a generous portion and cooked to perfection! This restaurant is a hidden gem and I would definitely recommend it.
