"My family and I have visited this little place for dinner on quite a few occasions. We have found both the owner and the staff very friendly and welcoming. If you want a cosy table inside to dine in, it would be best to call...ahead and book as there is only a couple of tables available. You can also bring your own wine in as well which is lovely. The pizza here is absolutely amazing everytime and the pasta is lovely. I recently had the penne siciliana and it was delightful with a bit of fresh chilli over the top. We also ordered the pizza to be delivered to our home a few weeks ago as well. We ordered directly through the business as I think it is really important to support our local businesseses. The pizza was also just as delish delivered. Thank you Al Dente you and your staff are doing an amazing job xx"

"I would not normally review a fish and chip shop but even allowing for natural born whinging people, what a different experience we had to so many. I will call it as the best battered fish I have eaten and the chips were very good...too. The wait time when it was quiet was what it takes to cook fish and chips. Duh, you wait longer when it is busy. The service was fine and it was lovely to sit in the almost winter sun at the outside tables. I highly recommend fish and chips from JP McCaffreys's"

"Being a local - I've actually avoided the CBH for some months now - but ended up there yesterday for lunch. Pleasant surprise! The renovations were quite nice - very "Hamptons" in my opinion - white washed tables and chairs, foods trucks, ample seating and shelter from hot sun or rain. The new menu has a large selection and the prices seem a little more reasonable than before. I had the chilli squid and wings, great serving size and excellent taste!"
