"Reason for the 3 star , hangings lamps need attention it has Webs on it, also Employees knees the nest over their hair, due to serving food from the kitchen. Also the greater at the door folding napkins that has the fork and spoons,and knife that customers eats with no gloves on. Over food is good but the places needs some love with cleaning."

"When ya just need to have a pizza made with love and personality, ya gotta go to the House Of Pizza. From thin to thick meats to veggies the toppings are fresh and savory with plenty spread around the pie. My favorite is the thin crust Sausage and Mushroom. It is a flavor that satisfies the soul when it is made right and the House of Pizza Nailed it !!! Only 2 or 3 blocks away from the Hammond Sports Complex, it 's a perfect place for the teams to go and celebrate their wins or lessons for the day of play. Take time out to visit this well established family owned cornerstone of the community and get of taste of the Hammond Hospitality with servers like Brittany, that smile even when doing side work like silverware, and managers that stop what their doing to greet a customer request and make sure that everything is satisfactory. The bar is a nice size and the frozen strawberry margaritas are divinely flavored with real strawberries!!!! It 's a flavor to savor for sure. Even if the Za is not what you desire, they have plenty of other great Italian flavors to tickle the tongue, bring peace to your mind, and just allow you to embrace the Ahhh of the day."

"Third time here. Easily one of my favorite restaurants on the North Shore. I am always amazed that Hammond has such a gem of a restaurant. I can totally appreciate the historic story of this establishment. Service was great. The Jacmel 75 drink was great, not so crazy about the Granny 's Negroni which had a spicy taste that totally overrode the apple taste of the gin. I loved the deviled eggs and the crispy chicken. I honestly could 've just eaten the vegetable purée and vegetables that came with the crispy chicken, that is how good they were. Hubby had the ribeye, he said it was very tender and tasty. The potatoes that were served with ribeye were melt in the mouth. The dessert of cookies and milk was just the cherry on top, cookies served warm with a melted vanilla gelato with cinnamon. We will come back here more often!"

"We had dinner tonight and the service and food was excellent! Being Veteran's Day, I received a free meal which was much appreciated. The wife is Gluten intolerant and they had a great menu and options for that. Rikki was our server and wasprofessional and very friendly, great job and a big thanks to Trent and his staff!!"

"Was very skeptical when I parked however the inside is very nice. Had the ribeye and margaritas. Steak was perfect and the margaritas are hand made. Great staff. Great service."

"I was in the area and craved a pizza, obviously. I walked inside this establishment and I wanted to check out their menu. They gave me a magnet with a code to scan through my phone’s camera. It directed me to their website to check out the menu. That was a new concept and interesting. I looked it over and made a call to them to place my order. I ordered a Large Thin Crust Pizza with Crumbled Sausage, Pepperoni, and Onion. I was told it would be ready by 9, so I just waited outside in my car. It probably took about 30 minutes. I waited a bit to try it out, since the box was pretty hot. They even put foil in the box. The pizza was, of course, crispy. It was a Thin Crust Pizza after all. I’d say they didn’t cheap out on the crumbled sausage or pepperoni, but the onions were difficult to locate. That was a bummer. The cheese layered on the pizza was good enough. I did enjoy their crispy crust for the most part. It was definitely a change of pace from other pizza places. The pizza as a whole, would mostly be on the line of average. I didn’t hate it, but I just didn’t love it, either. I would also say that they should have gone heavier on the sauce. It was pretty distant. The employees were friendly and easy to communicate with. I didn’t have any issues here in terms of service, so that’s a big plus. Overall, this place is a tiny bit above average for me, so they deserve three stars. I might return here, but I might not. It’s hard to say, but it was worth the try."
